Told You So. Casuals have no idea how to play Rift. Lol.
Played 1 IB just to prove a point.
Mercied the other team after slamming the spark 3 times in a row.
Why? Because they all camped in their spawn, and people left 1 by 1, like I said they would.
Smfh.

I think it would help reinforce the idea that lives matter too if we had life caps in games (as a safety net,) to make sure matches don't take forever because scoring hinges on very critical parts of the mode instead of being evenly distributed across all facets, I suppose. It is definitely the culmination of objective play, I guess, in the sense that scoring mostly only favors Spark time/Rift ignition. It's just really hard to make it 'feel' accessible players who want a 'slayer' moment and a few 'objective' moments evenly throughout their gampelay. Rift has its appeal, and it was a cool rehash of the new Relic's system.

18 RespuestasHas nothing to do with being a casual....and everything to do with being a team. Rift requires a team to communicate and work as a ONE unit to be successful. Hard to do if you're being matchmade, and no one has headsets on. Its was just a poor choice for an event that puts such a heavy emphasis on winning, like Iron Banner.

I play ib solo. This has been the worst one ever. That being said the only reason i grinded to rank 4 was for that gold scout rifle. Ended up getting 3 (two from endgame and 1 from vendor).

I think what's worse is when your the only one pushing forward. I was on a team yesterday and no one pushed. So I bust out my shotty and tried to get my team in the game. I got maybe 2 people to start actually fighting.

That is very frustrating as it happened to me a few times yesterday. On the other hand I was on a team of complete randoms and beat a fireteam of 6 as well. It just depends on how well people understand the objective and the map.

You might get in a random group that's good, but being in a team has been deciding alot of matches. I haven't played unless I'm in a fireteam.

1 RespuestaHalf the team challenges the spark. Dies because they're not playing tactiaclly. 10 seconds until they respawn. Enemy team takes spark and ignites rift. Allies then respawn. Rinse and repeat.

4 RespuestasI only went solo lastnight, truthfully I did'nt get matchmade into teams that hadn't a clue that often, but the teams I did, oh boy, black shield, only two of us ran for the spark, the rest went straight to the oppositions rift, why??? they just kept doing it, while two of us had to try battle for the spark against 4-5 players at a time, needless to say the game was lost very early and then came the quitting.

Or you were up against the wrong people. I didn't let a single person score and I was solo. I scored 4 times in my hour of playtime. I had fun, that's all that matters in the long run.

1 RespuestaOh, how can you tell if you are chatting with the fireteam( stupid question)? Fireteam chat setting right(rhetorical)? First match I had it on that, I had the spark each time, slammed it each time, teams were neck and neck(good match), and players acted like they understood when I told them to go ahead of me and I'd sneak around. The next two matches were a -blam!-ing disaster, my team went full super cell retard. It was like a small room that got pepper sprayed on my team. I don't know why they brake teams up at the end of the match, why not keep em the same ?
