No Destiny 2 for 2016!

1 RespuestaKind of a non article. There's been no official statement about a destiny 2, so writing about its delay is moot.
-
4 RespuestasThere has not been an official release date for D2. So how can something be delayed when Bungie hasn't announced anything for D2 let alone a release date. Good gawd
-
People actually took that fall 2016 release rumor seriously? Good christ, this community is -blam!-ing dumb.
-
1 RespuestaYa know if Bungie was a little more forthcoming with the information and a little more candid with the information they do provide we might not have sites speculating like this.
-
Good, if d2 drops in 16, that means they rushed it :// and it's garbage like d1

3 RespuestasEditado por Grimnir2001: 1/22/2016 9:17:20 PMEven when this is not all true , who is going to wait ???? I dont, these events are shite, that is not what you call content, lame crap. They are clueless, they have so much money and still cant figure it out, morons.
-
2 RespuestasNo one should even consider destiny 2 after this whole disgrace
-
These pvp events are not gonna be enough to string bungie through to destiny 2. We need another dlc. I'd happily pay good money for it.

3 RespuestasEditado por Sabre: 1/23/2016 11:41:11 AMIf it's not from bungie I won't believe it. Too many rumors spread around and you can't trust people.

43 RespuestasEditado por ofaDyingStar: 1/23/2016 4:26:16 AMKotaku is a shitty news source and you should be ashamed of spreading it. Edit: holy shit the salt is real haha. It's funny that you guys are legit arguing that kotaku, the shittiest and most biased gaming news, is credible. Hahahaha wow I needed that laugh.
-
1 RespuestaSo they don't know what they're doing either, huh? Worst fears confirmed.
-
Lol I'm also betting they're scared of all the awesome games coming out this year, it won't be a gaming drought this time around unlike when Destiny 1 came out.. Plus the consumers are starting to wake up
-
2 RespuestasI cant wait til this game dies. It's such a waste of time and money.
-
To be fair, it didn't say that. It said "delayed". The September date we all accept as the original was never stated by Bungie, but was mined. True, it would follow September would be the logical month, given the two major releases were September 2014 and 2015, but being delayed does not mean 2016 is ruled out. It could slip to November and still make the holiday season. Thing about games though... deadlines aren't a thing you want to miss. Costs publishers a lot of money to hype, and getting the pieces in place to do it takes time. More than one game has be canned altogether because a deadline couldn't be made.

2 RespuestasDidn't Luke smith work for kotaku at some point? Seriously... I think he did, that's hilarious
-
3 RespuestasDo people not realize fiscal year ends in September? Not defending bungie, as I find this disappointing as well, but all this says is no drop before September ends. Still leaves three months of calendar year in which destiny 2 could drop, and two of those are huuuuge holiday shopping months.

Wow...I called it but too disappointed to revel in it

Fuq him. People like him who turn a blind eye to reality are specifically why I so enjoy watching this shit burn. So delicious right now. So fuqng delicious. That's why I am watching this forums burn with that look of enjoyment like in the pic I posted.

1 RespuestaKotaku isn't always the most reliable. Sometimes they get it right though. We can only wait and see. As far as things go for Destiny year 2, if all we get are special events players will continue to drop out. As far as Destiny 2... isn't it strange that there hasn't been anything released to the public whatsoever? Usually a game within 2 years of release has something to show- concept art, screenshots, video of sample gameplay or even a promotional that's all cg animated to get the interest started. Nothing but the crickets chirping. It makes me wonder if they've taken the last bit of the maps created for the alpha and trying to stretch it out to fill an entire game. Maps on Mars that were removed as well as old Chicago. I think I heard about Mercury maps as well. So far all we've seen of that planet is in the crucible and if you make it to the lighthouse.

I don't want it to, but this game is going to die.
