Prove to me Christianity is a religion of peace
Christianity is in part responsible for the rise of fascism in Europe. Much of the [url=http://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godwin%27s_law]-godwinslaw!-[/url] propaganda talked about restoring the glory of "Christendom" and kicking out the Jewish Bolsheviks. Almost all the [url=http://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godwin%27s_law]-godwinslaw!-[/url] were Christian and Hilter himself grew up catholic. Although many claim hitler to be an atheist there is no evidence to support that claim. Sorry Christian kiddos.
The KKK. A radical Christian terrorist group that was involved in bombing, -blam!-s, murders, burnings and all types of violence against people with black skin. The KKK members were typically just members of the community and they'd go to church every Sunday.

5 RespuestasThe examples you listed who claimed to be, "Christian" are not actually Christians. Christianity is a religion of peace, but now it's been perverted and twisted by the public. One of the most common things people resort to when saying Christianity isn't a peaceful religion is How people treat gays and blah blah blah. In the bible it says it's an abomination yes, but it also says, " LOVE THY NEIGHBOR AS THYSELF." Meaning, just cause someone commits a sin, it's not up to you to judge, mind your own business because half the people out here proclaiming themselves as Christian, are in fact, not! Being a Christian is striving to make your life sinless as possible and in god's image in a peaceful manner. Not by shoving religion down someone's throat, spreading hate, and preaching to others about their sins, when you sin you're self. To those who haven't perverted and twisted Christianity, I commend you, because it's a hard feat to accomplish.

By the way , if you want proof , read the Bible. Violent things happen , but as a whole if you look at it with an open mind , God says to be passive , He will avenge the wrongs done to us. Most of the Violence that happens is because the "victim" of said violence was directed or told to do some thing and chose to ignore it. Mostly Old Testament stuff , He was rather Wrathful.
