Let me ask everyone a simple question. Is ISIS an evil organization? Yes. Does ISIS do horrible things. Yes. But, have we all forgotten what Iraq was like before the United States come in and occupied it for over a decade? Saddam Hussein was a horrible person. He had torture chambers where he'd have women -blam!- in front of their fathers and husbands. He'd have hands cut off. They'd kill children just for the fun of it and oh, he liked it. Yeah. We all agree this scumbag was evil and we all agree that something should have been done but can we honestly say that ISIS is any worse than Saddam? I'm sorry if you have forgotten but we already did once before. Remember Operation Iraqi freedom? What did it get us? Nothing. Hundreds of thousands dead, trillions of dollars spent, and nothing to show but a destabilized region now taken over by ISIS. Our own intervention created ISIS. I'm sorry but think long term. What will bombing ISIS and reoccupying the region do? All we're going to do is create even more instability and even more angry pissed off people ready to join a terrorist state. Grow up America and learn from the past. Grow up.
