Snipers = High Risk -> High Reward Shotguns = Very High Risk -> High Reward It's not that it takes more, or less skill, to use a shotgun or sniper, they're different skills. However, Shotgunning is inherently riskier. The sole reason I don't like sniping is..... it's boring. any of you whipper-snappers young enough to actually remember playing duck hunt? if I wanted to stand in one spot and shoot at random movement on the screen ... I would play duck hunt. Instead, I want to play an action-based game with dynamic movement. Where my spatial senses (where am I on the map in relation to my team and the opposing team "flanking") , my evasion abilities, my jumping abilities, my melee'ing abilities.... all come into play. A good sniper picks a lane, watches their radar periodically...and racks up the kills. and again, I'm not saying it takes less skill to snipe, consistent headshots while moving to avoid being counter-sniped is a fine art.... but it IS less risky than shotgunning. just cause you're trying to pad your K/D and hardscoping a lane while somebody who is actually out running around, ya know, trying to capture objectives or something came up and stuck their Invective up your stationary butt.....

2 RespuestasI don't use a shotgun but I have absolutely no problem with people running around with them. What I find strange is that guy who basically sits in the same corner throughout the entire game, waiting for someone to walk past. Fücking weird.

I'm a sniper/scout person and I don't know if you use a sniper, but your main has a shotgun, bro. Just learn to use it or your SoM better so that you don't get killed by shotgunners as often. :p
