She made a pouty face.
That Ryker guy tried to get me over to his house before he even knew my name then started rooting through my head with mind reading or something!?
She shook her head.
Shadow seemed nice, she also mentioned she had a boss, named Jay if i remember correctly.

"Jay?" Akron narrowed his eyes at the mention of that name. "That man's nothing but trouble. Bad guys doesn't just cut it. I can feel it from him. It's an ego, he wants to step over everyone's head to be at the top. And if you keep hanging around his lackeys he'll do the same to you."
-
She understood the weight of his words but before she made a decision she had to know... Is he a swordsman?
-
He pauses at that question and looks at her funny. "Yes. Although he has firearms and other various methods. The swords are more secondary. You can't possibly be thinking about challenging him are you?"
-
She smiled looking off into the distance. Shadow was strong, and if he's the boss. Her eyes sparkled. I'm definitely going to kick his ass. She laughed and grew excited at the thought of a strong opponent.
-
He put his hand on her shoulder and tried to shake her back to reality. "Hey hey listen. A fair fight is the last thing you'll get with him. And he'll be sure to gloat to you when he wins, or try and take your life later when he loses. It's not worth it."
-
Y-yeah i guess you're right i shouldn't be taking this so lightly... She seemed a little saddened but still, she wasn't going to give up on her dream.
-
"You have heart. If you insist fighting...perhaps I can help with that. After all, I am also a swordsman."
-
I've trained for 18 years already, I can't bear the thought of anymore. What is training compared to first hand experience anyways?
-
"Fair enough. Show me what you're made of." Using another one of his magic tricks he conjures up another longsword and takes a stance.
-
I...oh right now? Right here? She seemed confused at his sudden haste to duel it out in the middle of the street
-
"Oh. Ha, wrong mindset." He puts the sword on his back. The metal on his armor molded to latch the sword into place rather than make a sheathe. "There's not really anywhere else to practice these things other than in the wilderness or in large areas."
-
Well before I go training again. She sighed sadly at the thought. I need to find a place to stay, so maybe some other time? She cocked her head to the side with a cute smile.
-
"Very well. If you want to find an abode to call home you will need to earn your keep to...how do they say it, rent an apartment? I don't know where the Warriors sleep but personally I have set up a small camp outside the city walls. It doesn't bother anyone that way."
-
I don't think camping is my 'style'. She laughs. I have some money saved up from my previous travels so I'll manage to rent something for awhile anyways. Is this where we part ways? She said a bit sadly.
-
"Temporarily. You must find shelter, and I have nothing to offer in that regard. Similar to you I've spent most of my life fighting. So I'm prepared to handle life on my own. I have nothing to give you other than my arm and blade in the future. I wish you luck. I do believe we will meet again." He says the words with a blunt tone, he was not accustomed to detecting human emotion such as the hint of sadness in her voice. Nor could he appreciate her cute smile. He was merely a vessel hosting a spirit of war.
-
May you find your true self on your path. She went to bow but stopped remembering his comment about it. Instead Ammourette simply nods her head towards him with a smile before walking off.
-
He watches her walk off, he smiled a little at how quickly she took his advice. He in turn turned his back and began to walk he spoke under his breath almost to himself. "Please don't turn out like me." He began to walk straight into a wall, and melted into the shadow on the wall, and vanished.
