Can we take a second to appreciate Haakon's Hatchet?
Looking at the perks, initially I didn't see myself using it, but being a AR enthusiast, I had to at least try it.
I bought the vendor one Saladin was selling since it had counter balance and crowd control and those are pretty solid perks for a AR. With a high rate of fire matching the Supercell and the Monte Carlo, I was gonna feel at home.
I fully upgraded the gun and field tested it on Mars.
I was immediately in love.
It sounded so solid and hit like a battering ram. The recoil is so smooth and clean. The mag size is similar to the Monte Carlo.
I was excited to take it into the Iron Banner. Using the drops from my recent rank 5 package and old guns, I infused HH to 312 light and hit up some IB.
I wasn't disappointed.
20 damage critical shots to the dome and the medium rate off fire put down others quick. I've outgunned the bullet belcher Doctrine of Passing and the infamous Last Word. The easy recoil with counter balance makes landing critical shots a breeze.
This gun is beautiful and has earned a spot in my inventory.

Edit: fixed the sentence where I stated the Supercell was a medium rate of fire and compared it to the Hatchet.

I couldn't believe how effective it was because of its stability, like range on all guns is important but I never realized how powerful super high stability truly was, and doctrine of passing with braced frame and rodeo as well as the hatchet are proof of that, even hawksaw and the pdx, nirwens mercy too, if the stability is maxed all you need to do is make the enemy mess up once and it's gg

Rodeo sucks. Counterbalance and perfect balance are where it's at.

I got one with rangefinder, perfect balance, and third eye... seems like a decent crucible roll? I'm not sure how much rangefinder will help with damage drop off though.

This may sound like a dumb question but is there a proper way to use this AR? I have a few of these and when I tried using it I could not kill anything! Lol I am use to precision slower firing weapons like Nerwins and Mida. When using HH the gun is recoiling all over the place. What am I not understanding? Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance!

I was lucky enough to get a god roll on a righteous VII a few weeks back, so I didn't think to grab it. Apparently I was mistaken.
