It's the new Thorn :( Everyone is using it and it's OP because no other primaries shine right now. It beats every primary at every distance besides the extreme close range. In Iron Banner I really didn't care because only a few people use it. However in trials, everyone uses it. Just like the Thorn you're basically forced to use it to compete.
Edited due to very valid points people have brought up. Thank you for the feedback.

My Inward lamp begs to differ.

Hung jury will 3 shot critical hits versus a 4 shot Mida. Last word in range will out gun it most times.

Use hawkmoon ;)

Hey, check out this weapon balancing article. https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/183413461/0/0

3 RespuestasDon't nerf things that are good; buff things that aren't.
-
My friend FamilyGuyOstrich is ranked like 4th in trials and he uses Doc of Passing. If everyone used that gun then people would say its op. Its just that everyone is using this gun.
-
No, not even close. It's hardly op, just being overused. Not to mention I don't see too many, I've always loved it though.
-
1 RespuestaI did not see it at all today. Just saying.
-
2 RespuestasYoure stupid. Get off destiny

1 RespuestaEnough with this nonsense
-
Very rarely see it used, have no idea what you are talking about.
-
Is not OP at all, is over used.
-
Yeah Xur sold it so everyone's using it so now it's time to blubber and cry all over the forums. Typical.
-
It's not op... just one of the best and balanced weapons right now

1 RespuestaLearn the difference between OP and overused
-
2 RespuestasNot op just the best counter to the sniping meta. Increase sniper flinch and the primaries open up to weaker players again. I haven't been using mida and been doing fine
-
1 RespuestaMida is just an all around good weapon not op. Everyone is just using it because it shines more than ever now that other weapons are nerfed. Before this update did you see a lot of Mida? No it was mainly pulse rifles. It will always be something that a lot of players use. But out of all the times there's been a meta weapon it hasn't been like this because there's still plenty of weapons that can easily beat it. Stop with the damn crying nerfs already
-
MIDA is not OP, it's just overused. The stats are high class but the perks are nothing too special. You just need to learn how to deal with it, yknow, git gud? The main problem is every single weapon in the game has been unjustly nerfed to satisfy the Union of Whiners. Now all scouts are gonna be nerfed, AGAIN.

Go lay down on some train tracks and fall asleep.

You can thank those kids who whimpered so much that it eventually resulted in a nerf on almost every single gun in the game, forcing the only untouched ones to rise up to the top and appear to be "OP". But truth is it's not OP. Bungie needs to grow a pair and stop listening to every cry for help on these forums. It's time they start reversing some of those old nerfs to try and bring some balance into the game, which will NEVER happen.
-
I didn't equip it one in my flawless run
-
You guys did it What did you think was going to happen once everything else got nerfed?

Editado por Kouz_MC: 1/3/2016 8:17:43 AMPvP in destiny has always been about having the weapons and knowing the map rather than having much skills. First with vex, then thorn, felwinter, radegast..., and now mida and snipers. We can't blame players for using the most lethal weapons. What I find really impressive is how these balancing consistently failed to balance anything, and how Bungie consistently hides behind an ocean of micro percentages BS that don't mean anything. Also what doesn't make any sense to me is that a level 252 with a mida at 280 needs 4 head shots to kill, just as a 318 player with a 310+ mida to kill him. And they dare to say that lvl matter?? I didn't understand they meant be lvl 40...

2 Respuestas.. Not OP, just over used. because Xur sold it. and quite frankly. all the other weapons were nerfed to shit. Now Mida is due for an un-needed nerf. which due to whiners. it will happen, thus ruining another good weapon. Next after that will be invective. then TLW (AGAIN)

2 Respuestas2 trigger for the thorn vs 4pulls for mida. In fact after 2.1 patch all Scott rifles but a select handful are 4 trigger pulls. How is mida op?
