I have had a blast with this account and I've loved talking to all of you guys on here. Destiny and the forums has been a fun destresser for me since it came out.
I've done everything in year one, almost everything in year 2 and have 3 characters of each class all level 317, I've won movie of the week, I have almost 1000 followers, I made a clan that now has almost 500 members (ily guys :D), and I've made a bunch of friends.
But, since destiny came out I've been half assing my life. I used to exercise for multiple hours a day, have almost a perfect gpa, now I'm only just getting back into my old habits and it's because I haven't been playing destiny and have been banned from the forums for making a joke about my character being addicted to spirit bloom.
Should I keep destiny and continue playing so I have a destresser, or should I quit, lose my destresser/distracter and hope I can get back into my old ways?
Also there's the mater of this account. I'm not sure if I could sell it and use the money to pay for ACT studying, or if I should give it to a good friend and pass it on like my friend did to me.

Quit playing videos if you can. Enjoy the outdoors
-
Keep your account and come back when you want too. Thats what ive done :)
-
Learn to "coexist" with the game... seriously not that hard... I only play two days a week for a few hours (have been playing a bit more recently because of the christmas holidays).
-
Keep the account, but stop playing like I did. I haven't talked to you or brought up anything in Destroyers of Xylar in ages, but as a friend, all I can really say is go with your heart. Destiny or any game in general really helped me relieve stress (especially around finals,) but for me, real life is a priority. If you want to get back into your old routine but Destiny interferes with it, then I say drop it. Hope this helps!

Wait wait wait! You got banned for saying a someone was addicted to Spirt Bloom? That's awesome! You've set the bar high my friend.

Two of those options are illegal

I'll tell you the same thing some guy at Funcoland (yes I've just dated myself) told me: "Kid, don't sell all your old shit. You'll wanna go back and play it again some day." To this day, I still play LoZ: OoT, Rogue Squadron, SW: SotE, and many others on other consoles... Hold on to it. Come back when you want to. Don't not come back because you can't.

Sell the account, buy a sniper rifle, and visit the local gun range. Then come back next Autumn for Destiny 2.

Maybe just take a break. That's what I did once. Then on weekends and school breaks have fun!

4 RespuestasWhat I did was stop running three characters. I did that in Year One and burned out hard. I came back for TTK and now only run one character. I don't try to complete every activity each week. I simply do the ones that I find fun and skip anything else. Destiny is a lot more fun and way less of a time-sucker now.
-
Just play less. I had to do that too. I only play one character. I only get in 6-8 hours of destiny a week.
-
Editado por cbones778: 12/30/2015 9:31:31 PMTemporary quit. But don't delete all your characters and vault items lol. I did now starting from scratch. Oh how I wish I atleast had my motes of light back. Anyways play later after another game becomes boring.

3 RespuestasYou can honestly play on Tuesday and do all the raiding and nightfalls in a few hours. By doing that, you won't miss out on any progress during the week seeing as the raid is the only place where you'll increase your light. On Friday go get your flawless done. Two days a week and you can be at the same level anyone else is.
-
i'd just keep it just in case there's an actually good dlc
-
set a schedule. have Tuesday night game night and then weekends. Try to keep a set bed time. If anything work to make sure school and health come first and once that is taken care of for the day do your gaming.

1 RespuestaSpirit bloom addiction is no joke my friend.
-
I think that you should quit. You're getting to a point in your life where you can't play video games 4 hours a day.
-
Aye, finding balance if you can must be the best way.
-
Do what you think is best
-
Sell it. Use the money for a tutor. The game will be here when you come back and it might be better. But life will pass you by if you let it.

Editado por Toshiro: 12/30/2015 6:58:10 PMThis game is -blam!-ing cancer. Do yourself a favor and never play it ever again. And this is coming from one of your oldest clan members.
