Got kicked for running Stormcaller in Kings Fall raid over self rez
The heard me use my super and asked why the hell I was on Stormcaller. My reply was 'because I do not need self rez if I do not get killed, you guys die before I do, might as well make orbs'. Then boom kicked! Why do people feel the need to force self rez?
Edit: For those saying they did it as I sound like a jerk, dick, etc. My reply was after they argued with me about it from Totems all the way to daughters when i gave that reply and got kicked. They had been cussing at me and I was trying to remain calm and finally snapped at them
Edit: Happy Holidays, apparently thats polite to say. To all those saying me PvE KD is bad, yes they are around 20 but that is because I play for fun in regular PvE, I do not care about KD and play fun games with mates in PvE. Seriously what self respecting adult cares about that? If you need I can also photo my achievements to show that I have completed them all for those that say I have hlocked my acheivements. I don't know how I did that

2 RespuestasWhen my group runs raids if we need a random person we let it known we don't really care what class you run. Now if asked I may be like we'll please run nightstalker self rez or bubble titan. No if you running warlock and you dying over and over I'll ask you to switch to self rez then if you don't we will have problems. But we let people try to play how they are comfortable playing.

I ran Striker in the Oryx fight. One guy complained a little but the others said that it's cool. Turns out Striker was pretty useful.

Actually happened recently where someone in my clan was running storm caller and on the first night of oryx challenge mode and everyone got REALLY mad at him when he died on the last round of orbs and everything went to shit. And it could have been avoided if he was running self res

8 RespuestasI main a bladedancer, no raid tactics are ever gonna make me change that. If you can hold your own then your subclass shouldn't be a problem, anyone who argues otherwise is clearly lacking the skill needed to complete endgame activities.

3 RespuestasHere's the thing. Orbs don't stay after wipes. So that might be why. But still, you shouldn't be kicked for that, and storm caller can help a lot in the pit. I don't know why they're so salty.

Lol i run stormcaller through the whole raid. not to offend anyone but self res is a crutch and stormcaller has so much orb generation. Now some can argue "uh thats not true i can use my radiance an-" ok but are you going to?

The horrible -blam!-ing thing is that a lot of people say Warlocks are bad for the raid and they kick one for not using the thing they were complaining about.

You should be able to run whatever class you want as long as you can stay alive... So many players use Rez as a crutch, it drives me insane! I can't stand the warlock that dies 20 times in a raid then complains about your one death. Screw them!

As someone who mains a squishy ass hunter this dlc (mained a Titan in year 1), I absolutely hate sunsinger. I feel like they don't make orbs as well as voidwalker or stormcaller can. And I'm under the impression that supers are meant to help the team. And as I said previously, since I've mained the other 2 classes I know that if you die, you die for good (at least in hard mode raids). So I don't see the point in a freebie res as it makes you less cautious when playing.

2 RespuestasSelf res is just a just in case plan, plus if it was golgoroth, stormcaller over self res all day, I use striker in the raid up to oryx because i like it call me bad but I'll live as striker instead of dying as defender

When people use self Rez they tend to die a lot more often. It almost makes them play with less urgency for staying alive. I've actually booted warlocks for being only self rez and not knowing what to do. That's their safety blanket. Also don't mind the losers talking about your k/d. I run a full raid without dying and Sherpa kids because I get bored and my k/d isn't great because I hope all the idiots realize that sometimes we have to wipe as well hahahah. Top 100 pve player and it doesn't mean shit.

I wouldn't kick you but I do prefer sunsingers in the raid. I don't consider it a crutch. You can generate orbs pretty good and if you make a mistake you get another shot and with all the damage checks in the raid one person can make the difference

Players are jerks, play how you play. I hope they wasn't your friend. Cause if they was mine and they kicked me I would immediately delete them. And I'll message then saying "you got deleted for being an effing bitch."
