People don't want the old raids
Face it people, you don't really want the old raids updated. What you really want is your year 1 weapons/armor back.
Edit: just to simplify. Updating the old raids sounds wonderful, it really does, but not right now. They can take all those ideas and implement them in y4 and it would be the best thing ever. If they did it now people would just get bored of it after a few weeks and demand new content, which segways into my main point.
They need to spend their precious time just making new content to play. Trying to make new stuff AND bringing up the old would just call for half assed attempts, just like year one.

I want more stuff to do. It should be -blam!-ing simple just add an extra difficulty that has a 300-310 light recommended and drops 300+ items. Why the -blam!- shouldnt we have more variety in raid, weapons, and armor in y2????

I think updated loot whether is be old stuff bumped up or brand new gear would be awesome for a refreshed VOG. BUT you are kinda right. It's not necessarily the raid people want back, it's the loot.

Guy brings up a point could you imagine destiny with no GUNS and ARMOR dropping at the end of the raid the content itself is bland and not all that fun to replay without the addicting loot system

2 RespuestasPeople are being silly when they say things like "bring the old raids back asap!!!" the old raids are still there, they never went away. And theyre still totally fun and playable. Hell, you can even throw your old vog gear on for nostalgia. If you still miss your yr1 gear, go put it on and play vog! Its still amazing.

Dude VoG was the shit, and it's the only raid im actually good at and you don't need mics for it (as far as my knowledge goes)

3 RespuestasLight level 320 will be converted to lvl 32 when inside an old instance, where enemies will be lvl 33. It will be called the legacy mode and will award gear that is only competitive in that mode and you can get lvl 34 with that gear only in legacy instances. Also some new exotic that is tied to modern day thru time and can be obtained by lvling to 34 and beating both Crota and Atheon in a unique way (challenge). Quest chain will open, when you have the full lvl 34 legacy set. Same set will drop in CE and VOG to make it less grindy.
