Simple question: will you buy Destiny 2? I'm genuinely interested to see if people love the current game enough to start another title or if people will use it as a good excuse to take a break from the Destiny world. Feel free to give reasons for your response.
Edit: so far the majority is yes, though that's with caveats (namely being able to carry over characters, focus on new gen to make the game bigger). Honestly thought it would be closer to 50/50 given the number of negative Destiny posts. Hope you're reading these replies Bungie, there's good ideas for the future here!

Love destiny, just out of things to do/ people to play with
-
Probably yes, but I'm gonna wait this time for better deals.
-
I'll wait until I can get the game plus all dlc for almost less than the original game, just like before.
-
Eventually, but right away? Probably not. I like destiny but it's become a bit of a "boy cried wolf" syndrome with this gameS. I would have to be convinced otherwise that I won't be wasting money on a 60 dollar game and that dlc would be worth the cost, otherwise no I probably won't touch it til it's very cheap

10 RespuestasIt would have to be..... 1:- TRUE open world 2:- Have waaay better rpg elements 3:- Be rid of 3 person fireteams 4:- Dynamic event missions similar to. Guildwars 2 (the best way ever to create a feeling of progress and group content) 5:- 60fps 6:- Variety in content 7:- No forced pvp (i dont see trials guns in pve but thorn, invective, exotic swords etc require pvp...not really fair if u hate it)

1 RespuestaDestiny 2 is the last chance, I feel like bungie got -blam!-ed with all the Martey O Donell and Joseph Staten crap. Taken King showed that they could do some things right. If they screw up though, im done with this game. "People who quote themselves are idiots" - Seraph

1 RespuestaEditado por Patriot121: 12/17/2015 7:41:26 PMYou're surprised this many people say "yes?" Ever heard I the term "vocal minority?" That's what the forums are. Despite what seems like constant whining and toxicity, very few people on the forums are like that. It's just the people that are post way more often, and say louder, more inflammatory things.
-
Probably wil buy it eventually, but shure as hell not gonna buy it on release...

Editado por Hulkksmash: 12/17/2015 5:16:11 PMGoing to blind post and say "yes is drastically winning". The few complainers always think they are the majority voice lol. Edit: oh hey look im right. Yes winning by landslide!

17 RespuestasEditado por A KOOL POP TART: 12/17/2015 2:30:22 PMYes, probably. That is if they don't make it into a Playstation Exclusive.

I wasn't as I took a break and fell off. But I recently came back and am really enjoying it. Really enjoying Challenge modes and 50 fragments quest. Hopefully they fix nightfall rewards in destiny 2

2 RespuestasEditado por Ve7n00m: 12/17/2015 2:55:07 PMIt all depends if my characters and gear can carry over (to a certain extent) I'll be pissed if all the last 2 years progress is shoved up my arsed. Destiny 2 should be a continuation of Destiny, therefore everything I've earned and acheived should come with me!
-
1. Want to be able to carry character over 2. New areas! (duh) 3. Long main story (no offense but this game was pretty lacking) 4. New weapon types (crossbows, dual wielding, maybe some more melee weapons) 5. New class(?) 5 and a half. New subclasses? 6. More backstory in-game and not in grimoire cards. 7. Minimal microtransactions plez.
-
I will because I still enjoy the game. Hopefully dropping last gen will iron out a lot of issues they currently have. If it doesn't then it won't survive to destiny 3.
-
Definitely no, if Doom is going to be as good as it looks won't bother.

Editado por Striker93175: 12/17/2015 5:08:20 PMMaybe. I'll wait till it's been out a year or more though. 1 to see if it's as much of a let down as 1. And 2 pick up all dlcs plus incentives bonuses and goodies for one price so it's not another 140 game ($29.99 ftw). Finally 3 see what else is out. I played so much destiny because at the time it was really the only ps4 option. There's a growing library of titles to play, all with a better story than destiny.

12 RespuestasThe game is shit now and has the same persistent bugs, now micro transactions, and unless it will be 50$ for xbox and 60$ for Playstation then NOPE.
-
5 RespuestasIf they leave this Activision contract then maybe. Until then I'll pass
-
Might do. I voted no because I will be waiting till the game has been fully reviewed. Also if it doesn't have dedicated servers it's a no. If the RNG loot system still exists it will be a no. If the plan Bungie has for dlc or lack of it continues it will be a no. ALOT of things need to drastically improve or it is a definite no.
-
Only if its positively reviewed by both Datto and Bdobbins. And only after the first raid is also positively reviewed.

5 RespuestasProbably, i still have a great time playing with friends in Destiny and if they drop the older consoles then i think they can make a much bigger game. I want more planets to explore, bigger areas on them all to navigate and ass loads of more loot to wade through to find the right loadout for me. I want more enemy variety, huge hulking baddies in public events that are mini bosses like a mini Oryx boss, not the spider tanks, it has to be bigger and crazier. And more story!
-
I'll wait a year until they drop a full edition with everything in it like they did with TTK
-
Maybe. Depends.

5 RespuestasBias poll is bias
-
I will if there is a character transfer with items, weapons, and loot. If it is start from scratch... Meh
-
Yea I'll buy it. However there will be other games that I also will be playing. The Division etc. :)
