Here's a short, easy answer. One for everyone. Two people buy Destiny on a Friday. One levels to 25 instantly, one doesn't. A few hours later, Trials starts. Does one of those two people have an advantage, even if it's only slight, or time based? Yes? It's pay to win then. There is nothing anyone can say that will sway people one way or the other. If they started selling guns and armour, you people would just say, "well, you can earn it in game". Once again, Bungie profits from the stupidity of it's fanbase. So, if you pay for an advantage, is it pay to win. You can't say it isn't, under the circumstances I've mentioned, or can you? I'm sure you will.

Everyone still gets the initial lvl 25 boost item... So...
-
So what? Everyone gets that. What about character 2 and 3?
-
Changes nothing because both have to wait to 40... and in fact the guy that power leveled will be in some real hurt because he spent less time practicing his class. Meaning grinding people win by players boosting. In the end. YOU DON'T GET AFFECTED BY THIS I'M THE SLIGHTEST BESIDES HAVING MORE PLAYERS TO COMPETE WITH... which will happen regardless within a days grind.
-
Are you fully retarded? Who gets to 40 first, if someone is 25 and the other is 0? Makes no difference if it's a day, a month or a year, it's pay to win. Whether people care or not is a different story. The fact that people can't just admit it though. You'll be defending them when they're selling armour and guns. Make no mistake, it's now pay to win. I don't care, mine are all 40's, but I know what pay to win is, so do you. The fact that you are defending it confirms your stupidity.
-
Says the retard... not worth the time, your ability to comprehend your surrounds is astounding. Science magazine called, asked for the scoop on how you even tie your own shoes. Gtfo child.
-
You would have been as well just clapping your hands and drooling, replying was a waste of time since you have no retort.

Editado por DsrGGuy: 12/17/2015 3:29:36 AMLol says the guy that keeps having to mimic what I say just to sound intelligent or witty himself. It really is sad. Have you ever had an original thought or are you just another forum simpleton, copy/paste'ing every complaint and/or reply you see because you don't take the time to think things through? Verdict says! The ladder! *slow claps*
save face, just stop replying ;)
-
What did I mimic? You came back with nothing.
-
Pst... Everyone is laughing at you. The very fact you try to deny it is comedic.
-
Deny what? What did I mimic? Did you reply to the wrong person because you're fully retarded? I don't think we've even used the same words, nevermind made the same comment.
-
I'm sorry, you must be confused because I could not give 2 -blam!-s less at this point. You are beyond the point of return, lie down and die already because you lost this topic.
-
What's Gtfo? I speak English, not f ucking acronym.
-
My ability to comprehend my surrounds? Never go full retard.

Trials is an end game activity. Not a level 25 vs level 10 activity. Doesn't Trials require level 40 anyway? Nobody is winning anything by being level 25.
-
No, it's not Fireteam leader has to be 40, but that's irrelevant.
-
Correct his analogy is horrible because trials has a minimum lvl cap...and that lvl map is set at a lvl higher than what he is talking about....like significantly higher. So in the end his example falls flat on its face. Its not an advantage its simply faster lvling.
-
So who's going to win between an average 40 and 2 25's, and an average level 40 and 2 2's? Or a 40 and 5 2's and a 40 and 5 25's when IB is on?
-
No, it doesn't. It has a level cap on the fireteam leader. The analogy is sound anyway, if it's 40 or 25. Who gets to 40 first between the guy who went straight to 25 and the guy who didn't? How much silver have you bought?
-
Editado por Semperfi1999: 12/17/2015 1:00:51 PMSince I don't spend additional money on games for any cosmetics or the like.....I have bought no silver and never plan to buy silver no matter what they put up for purchase for silver. I did not realize that if a leader was lvl 40 they could drag in a lvl 25......of course with the lvl advantage in the trials they would basically be running around practically worthless in being able to dmg the enemy players. But hey whatever you can disparage people all you want. This is not pay to win......do you actually understand what pay to win is? Because after all the complaining on the forums I am 100% positive that the majority of gamers have no clue what pay to win actually is. Pay to win is paying real money to get a massive advantage that cannot be overcome by another players grinding. Parties who purchase this get essentially an "I win button" that they can push and insta win against everyone other than another player who had purchased the same thing. This is pay to win. Now I personally would never bother buying something like this as I actually buy games to play them but hey if someone wants to blow their money this way.....that's completely up to them. It does not actually affect the game negatively....but it doesn't really affect it positively either. You realize that everyone who purchased TTK got this same thing (minus the class boost) right? In the end there are bigger issues even in the world of destiny that should be addressed and discussed than this thing. But then again.....destiny gamer are the biggest bunch of easily offended and butthurt players that I have seen in a long time.
-
It's not paying for a massive advantage. Pay to win is paying for any sort of advantage. Lets break it down. How so you get to level 25 instantly. You PAY. Who WINS an IB match between a 25 and a 0, both average players? I'm going to assume that you know what the word "to" means. Put them all together, what have you got? PAY to WIN.
-
Meanwhile this entire argument is moot because no one takes a lvl 0 or a lvl 25 into the TOO to begin with. So in the end your hypothetical argument is just silly. Qualifying pay to win as paying to save time when someone who plays the game can and will get to the same point in only a few hours (honestly this really only saves what 10 hours max?). In the end its still not pay to win because hey guess what the person who just started and didn't pay will very shortly be at the same lvl....but then that person will also have more experience/glimmer/parts/weapons to actually use that lvl properly. Its paying to get a jump start but they both end up in the exact same finish line. Who cares if that person "gets there first" in the long run it ends up making virtually no difference. Let me guess buying an exotic from Xur isn't "earning" that exotic right?

Really? Where did you get your Voidstreak?

From the finishing the bounty for SRL.
