Maybe Guilty Spark corrupted Cortana or something. Intriguing, but I wish the game would've let us know more before abruptly ending like that. Knowing 343's track record, this plotline will likely end up a disappointment.

Probably not. Spark/chakas is currently looking for the librarian, and has commandered a unsc vessel to assist him.
-
Isn't the librarian dead?

habeas corpus
-
Requiem blew up with the librarian AI right?
-
That was an AI. Not the actual librarian.

Editado por RacingTempest: 12/9/2015 1:07:48 PMI really don't think that she was corrupted by anyone but herself. Remember, In halo 4 she was more than 2 years in to ramancy.
-
I thought she cured her own rampancy in the domain?
-
She says she does. But Cortana could easily have lied. Or she's just compeletely over the deep end, and thinks she's cured, but she really isn't
-
If she wasn't cured of rampancy, then she'd behave exactly as she did in halo 4.
-
She kinda does at some points
-
Especially at the very end when you're crawling to the power core thing
-
Such as?

Editado por RacingTempest: 12/9/2015 2:15:09 PMRead my other reply. I basically just say the end of the game
-
Editado por A Jackal Sniper: 12/9/2015 2:22:53 PMI know, I've beaten the game twice. That cry out for Chief was because of her favor of him (not romantically) and her self-imposed need to protect him. This is furthered by the fact that Halsey also had an attachment to Chief more than the other spartans, and cortana is an imprint of her mind.
-
Not that, the things she says to Locke and his team
-
Oh, that. That's not rampancy, she just clearly hates Locke, the Spartan IV's, and the Infinity. Most likely because of when Infinity abandoned them in Halo 4, and that the Spartan IV's were solely created to replace "her" spartan II's.
-
Editado por RacingTempest: 12/9/2015 2:34:11 PMYou see some of that hatred in Halo 4, when she makes a comment about halsey cheating in chess, and proceeded to insult her
-
That's because she actually does hate halsey. She thinks of her as a monster because of what she did to the Spartan II's.
-
In halo 4? No, she sounds like she is rampant. Even after her rant she apologized after it. She obviously still had faith in Halsey, but she was going insane and her thoughts were getting affected by rampancy
-
She had never addressed that hate until rampancy. In one of the books, she finds out what she did to the Spartans, but decides not to think on it because of the war against the Covenant.
-
Hmm. Well to each their own. That was just a small theory I heard from someone else
-
My real theory is that chief is the one who is insane. He is having the illusion that he thinks that cortana is alive, and that she is on his side. But cortana isn't alive. In reality, she is a weird twisted glitch, sent by the diadact, or some other powerful character in the halo universe. She acts, and sounds like cortana, but she looks like some hideous blood red monster. But chief, devastated by her death, is imagining her looking like that, and throughout the whole game, you, the player, are looking through chief's point of view
-
Editado por A Jackal Sniper: 12/9/2015 3:00:34 PMDude, you have no idea how many different theories there are, there's so many ways halo 6 could go. And yeah, lets just agree to disagree.
-
Yeah, it's like FNAF with a more coherent story, and you know, Non repetitive gameplay
