I feel all guardians are dependent on aim assist. snipers should be pure skill i mean look at nkuch that guy has a way op sniper. It even kills on revive either bring aim assist down or better shield when revived or 1% chance to get a headshot when doing a 180 degree turn

7 RespuestasThe thing about aim assist is it's also kind of annoying. Like I was trying to shoot some people from far away and my reticule kept getting pulled off of people who ran by. Itms frustrating. It also makes sniper too easy.
-
A lot of snipers don't "naturally" have increased target acquisition! It's just the perks the people can get rolled for their snipers help a ton! I have a very good 1000 yard stare for PVE... It has will of light and firefly plus another, but in PVP I don't feel like it offers much aim assist. Defiance of Yasmin has a great deal more aim assist to the point where I can land some shots that I thought I wouldn't have, but that is the only sniper I have used that I feel has that assist "naturally"

10 RespuestasYou've got the right idea. Either bullet magnetism needs to be gone or reticle sway and heavy flinch need to be added
-
It's not aim assist, the reticle is on your head and they pressed the trigger

3 RespuestasAnd if there was no aim assist we would see the same people bitching about how snipers are worthless. Lol stupid ass community.

Editado por Flawless : 12/11/2015 11:06:16 PMKinda. Snipers have a little too much for my tastes

It's sad how much people are followers and just say what everyone else says on these forums. I can remember "nerf fusion rifles" then it was nerf ARs then it was nerf TLW and Thorn then it was nerf shotguns!! Now everyone is up in arms about "aim assist!?!" So laughable. So all the Year 2 guns have no character or distinctiveness and the Year 1 guns have been nerfed into the ground. Then all the nerfs for PVP carry over to PVE. It's sad to watch and hear.

Go play Halo5 and use the sniper rifle. They feel very similar aim assist wise. It's not that snipers are the problem it's the fact that you can have a sniper rifle from start to finish without ever using a primary.

Bump man like holy shit bump

I heard playing better fixes the aim assist problem.

47 RespuestasEditado por Der Sheff: 12/12/2015 1:21:01 AMTo anyone that complains about "aim assist" for sniper rifles I ask that you prove it. Pick one up, go in to crucible and hit record. Show us your "easy" kills resulting from "aim assist." Show off your "quick scopes" and "easy" headshots. Single game footage, not montage. Prove it. Edit: Here's a link from an individual (Lord Xander) that actually wants to show something: http://xboxdvr.com/gamer/L0RD%20Xander/video/13193894##t=0 While this doesn't fit the criteria I listed above, I dare anyone to do better. Show everyone what easy kills aim assist gives in a single video of one or more matches. Prove that snipers need a nerf. Edit 2: Here's a couple more. Still doesn't fit the criteria, but it's something: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sm-pegy_Ftg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ejAZIFGD58

Cry more

Aim assist in no way affects your bullets. It makes your gun move when someone walks directly in front of your scope. And if your directly in front of a sniper scope your most likely gonna die
-
Na look at 1000 yards i have it will make you cry lol
-
Aim assistance just slows down scope turning speed when on a target, it's drastic enough to keep the feel and flow of the weapons engaging. But I don't think it's saved me in any trials of osris games. Within primaries I think it helps just balance out weapons and their intended roll, the first curse for example rewards you for precision kills without reloading, aim assistance helps keep the weapon feel that way.

I don't think there should be aim assist on snipers as well, theres already zero sway, so why add aim assist on top of that...

5 RespuestasGet gud. Snipers in Destiny are easy to be good with but hard to be great with.
