GOLGOROTH CHALLENGE MODE IS ACTIVE+ info

Confirmed strat: use all 6 orbs everytime. Need to be a different gaze holder each orb.
Rewards: 320 artifact, new fragment, new sexy emblem and random 320 from golg's drop pool. Ex chest or arms
In this spoiler is an in-depth guide(i hid it because i dont want ppl to have to scrool tru it everytime)
[spoiler]you have to use all bubbles and have 1 new person doing gaze per bubble. If you use all bubbles everybody needs to know how to do gaze. But if you kill him in say 4 bubbles you only need to use 4 bubbles and only 4 ppl need to know how to do gaze. You cant loose the gaze.[/spoiler]

You don't need to use all 6 orbs just all 6 must hold gaze without losing it each time. There are 2 easy ways to do this. 1. Kill adds and send someone to the eight bridge to "distract" At this point you drop the left from orb and gaze holder 1 takes gaze. Damage as normal until 10 seconds. At this point gaze holder 2 gets out and takes gaze with 2 seconds left from the right bridge. Then everyone gets out. 3 and 5 take gaze from where 1 took it to deal damage. 4 and 6 take it from the right bridge where 2 went to. Rise and repeat. Don't forget to clear cursed in the pit while 6 has gaze 2. The second method is exactly the same except the distracter will take gaze first. Making the right side 1, 3, and 5 and left 2, 4 , and 6. You drop the orb as soon as he takes gaze and the second gaze holder will grab it. This allowed for a few more seconds of damage. Everything else is the same. 3 will be the one to jump out at 10 seconds and take gaze then 4, 5, 6 in order. This allowed me as the first person out the pit to get off 4-5 more spindle rounds, but that also means the other Damage dealers were getting that many extra as well. This could be the damage difference weaker groups need. It allowed us to kill him in 3 runs instead of 4 or 5. Helm of St. 14 is very important for this part because the thrawl will come out if you are damaging on second gaze instead of first. Hope this helps

50 RespuestasSomeone already cheesed the challenge. You don't need to drop all 6 orbs. Only requirement is that all six people have to take the gaze per damage cycle. So basically, do one orb strategy. One person gets out early (unstable light person more than likely) and takes the gaze while the others work their way out. Rapidly pass off the gaze to the rest of the team. Clear ads. Repeat once orb respawns and Golg's back opens.

It is not even required that you shoot down a bubble just have everyone get gaze once. 2: the 6th person to grab the gaze should be the most experienced they will have to wait for the timer to run out on the gaze. 3 once all 6 players have held his gaze the fight can continue using the one orb strategy. Ps: please don't hate this is just for people who are struggling.

The easy way: https://youtu.be/02Iymv1VwEA We did it in 2 damage runs but you can extend it for as many runs as you need to kill him unless he enrages. Use normal 1 orb strat, one gaze runner and everyone else in the pit. At 8 seconds left on the gaze one person in the pit moves to behind Golg and grab the gaze and then moves out of the pit to one side. Everyone gets out of the pit on 0 seconds as usual and the remaining 4 people get the gaze right away one after the other until the last person has it and they just run around until it is done. Kill adds and repeat until Golg is dead. Continue to have each member get the gaze each round unless you will kill Golg in that round before the primary gaze runner gets to 0. If you can kill him that round you don't need everyone to get the gaze. The "Failed to capture gaze" message is the trigger that will cause you to fail the challenge if ever team member hasn't had the gaze. If someone dies with the gaze or before getting the gaze that round you will need to wipe. Warlock can self rez as long as they have already had the gaze or can grab it after they rez. If someone dies before the last round where you don't all need to grab the gaze that's fine as long as you kill Golg that round. The video shows it done in 2 rounds so we all grab the gaze the first round but we just kill him the second round. We did it again with lower light level people and had to do 4 rounds so the first 3 we all grab gaze and the last round we just killed him and we did get the challenge loot.

20 RespuestasI did it hope this helps: Player 1 takes gaze Player 2 stays up too Player 3,4,5,6 go down (after destroying an orb) and do damage to golgoroth Player 2 takes the gaze (before gaze 1 finishes) Players 3,4,5,6 go up Player 3 takes the gaze, then 4, then 5 then 6...gaze stops Orbs regenerate Repeat strategy till you kill him.

[spoiler]Some things to be noted during gaze switch. Upon player 4 grabbing the gaze explosive thrall are going to start spawning which should be the focus of players 1-3.[/spoiler] 5) Once player 5 grabs the gaze players 1-4 should shoot down the bubble and any exploders down in the pit. 6)Now do the damage and pop back out once the timer is done. 7) Repeat steps 2-6 until dead.

Kill ads as usual, number 1 is main gaze holder, drop bubble as he takes gaze and start dps, when his count down gets to ten, number two jumps out of pit and takes gaze, rest continue dps, then 3-6 jump out when puddle ends and switch gaze rapidly between themselves in numerical order, hence why odd numbers and even numbers on opposite sides, so golg turns back on next grabber each time. Number six just has to survive full gaze, then repeat until golg dies. Completed on hard mode, any death is a wipe, unless self rez!

77 RespuestasGuys the only thing that is different for those that want to do the 1 bubble strat is... 1. Take down ads. 2. Have 3 people left and 3 people right. 3. One on one side takes gaze, then when back is turned person on other side takes gaze immediately. Repeat till the 6th person is ready to take gaze. 4. Take bubble down. 5. 5 people jump in pool to do DPS while 6th guardian is taking gaze. 6. Unstable guy jumps out and kills thrall in middle if any. 7. All jump out and repeat steps 1-7 until he is dead.

You can also do one or two rounds of damage. No need to drop all six orbs, just need to have each person grab his gaze each cycle. It's sort of like a weird game of hot potato

Ran it three times in an hour with some friends that returned to destiny. 6 decent gaze runners. Man, this went smooth.
