Exotic Engram Hoarding
Have any of you guys been doing the same thing? I currently have 21 saved up for the update tomorrow in hopes to get some of the new items being released into the drop pool. I know previously this didn't work since engrams from one DLC would not decode into new DLC items but this isn't really a DLC update and light levels aren't changing, they are just releasing more items into the loot table.
Even if it doesn't work I figured I didn't have anything to loose since I already have every currently available exotic so may as well save them. Anyone else do the same?
EDIT: HAHAHA for all you assholes telling me I was wasting my time and that you were 100% sure it didn't work.......I just get myself a new 310 MIDA, and a 310 Plan C decoding continues now on to the armor.......

Yep saved mine for 2 weeks, got the Ram, Armamentarium, Twilight Garrison, Plan C and the Tarantella all at 310,

Good job. I saved about 30 exotic engrams. I'm laughing at how many people said they would be a waste on your post. Old engrams won't be old between updates... they get "old" when it's a new dlc

5 RespuestasAs with previous patches, I suspect there will be "new" engrams. So old ones will only decrypt to old loot tables. Even Blue engrams suffered like that the week before HoW's dropped and they could not be decrypted.

You can still use them for infusion for a quick way to get an exotic off the wall and level it quickly
