Our expectations are "lofty" because of the lies they've fed us about what we're getting in our updates. There's been an issue with the app where you can't take items from your vault.....still hasn't been fixed with the recent app update. They told us there would be a use for etheric light.......I can't find who to sell it to. They told us there would be x amount of exotics with TTK........half of them can't be dropped yet. They told us that loot drops would be 'more likely to drop around your current light level'...........98% of my drops are scrapped instantly because they're below 290. The list goes on and on and on. All they done is promise us content and continuous updates which they simply haven't given us. I'll get home from work ready to tackle the darkness, stick destiny on and I'm bored within an hour of playing. The grind is horrifically long and tedious for very little progress, I can play for 6 hours and get absolutely nowhere! My desire to play this game is dying along with this game, I've spent over a year desperately hoping that bungie would pull their head out of their ass and start doing what they said they would before it came out.......alas I've wasted a full year of gameplay that I could have put into other games.
