We are now getting to the point where most developers will be moving completely on to ps4 and xbox one. Always happens and always will. If you want to be able to keep up with games, you will need to upgrade.

Dude. Chill. Since the invention of CPUs at some point old gen machines cannot handle new gen software. Consoles are worse you cannot upgrade parts... Well... You can but void your Xbox live rights. It will always be this way. PS: you can overclock your 360.... I have not tried the one yet. Looking into trying it with a bud.
