Refer-A-Friend system sucks (I predict a Riot)
It hasn't even been a day and that new system is pretty much locked off to everyone who already referred a friend themselves. I get why. They want to extend the players but no one is gonna use it. I want to but I can't because no one is available to do so.
I'm just saying, I want to do the quests but the 7 day lock really -blam!-s year 1 players who brought their friend along with them already. It isn't like it gives the referee the game. No one is gonna buy it just to help their friend get a quest unlocked.
I think you guys just need to fix it. I'm perfectly happy doing two player missions with a friend and would even enjoy it.

There's been a few instances where she's said some weird things to me during sex and I'm not sure what to make of it. She's said things like "you better not **** any other girls," "I don't want anyone inside you but me," or "wait for me. You can do it." Keep in mind that she said these things while we were doing the dirty. The last one I quoted needs some context. I was going traveling for a month and she said that to me. I don't know what to make of this. It just seems weird and a turn off. I can see an overly jealous girlfriend saying some of these things, but she is not jealous at all. But anyway, back on topic. I referred her to Destiny ages ago.

I have given up on destiny, I'm only playing till destiny 2 comes out. Not gonna buy the next one until destiny 3 comes out and you can buy destiny 2 with all the Dlc for a low price.

Yeah I kind of got 6 of my friends to join Destiny when it first came out. All of them now have it and the only way for me to do this would be to get my girlfriend her own system. Not going to happen.

Bungie change that u can use a friend not a new person to the game, no ones going to buy this game only to help anyone get one thing and the friend will never playing this game, its just a waist of money for those guys Who doesnt care and will not do this quest?

My brother got me the taken king less than two weeks ago. I'm ineligible for the refer-a-friend cause its been more than 7 days. :/ Pretty lame since he recruited a bunch of his buddies too earlier in the year. They have our money now, so guess we have served our purpose to them.

Let's be more realistic. Since we're going to do a Blizzard with this RAF bs (which will always remain a bigger success on the WoW platform than Destiny could hope for, since it enticed people wishing to dual-box accounts rather than recruiting new players). Let's bring a scroll of resurrection + reward system. We all have that friends list we built during Year1, only to find 10% of them seem to play Destiny Year2. Let's bring them back: Refer a code to a friend, who hasn't played destiny in the last 30-days if they have TTK. If they stopped playing before year2, the code gives them a 10-day trial at least. It's a win/win, we get our cool sparrow, you get your active players up for that period.

I fully support bungie and understand the point of refer a friend. if not having those two pointless useless items is really pissing you off then you are playing for the wrong reasons, need to get a grip on life, and find more ways to be productive with said life.
