Refer-A-Friend system sucks (I predict a Riot)
It hasn't even been a day and that new system is pretty much locked off to everyone who already referred a friend themselves. I get why. They want to extend the players but no one is gonna use it. I want to but I can't because no one is available to do so.
I'm just saying, I want to do the quests but the 7 day lock really -blam!-s year 1 players who brought their friend along with them already. It isn't like it gives the referee the game. No one is gonna buy it just to help their friend get a quest unlocked.
I think you guys just need to fix it. I'm perfectly happy doing two player missions with a friend and would even enjoy it.

Editado por Laedywen: 11/28/2015 2:25:43 PMok there would be only 1 way they could make this go smoothly. if you make refer a friend thing, do counter cosmetic stuff since you KNOW people already invited their friends to this game months ago... so you add these items to silver vendor... so its basically pay for demand cosmetics extra... then no one would be shouting this much. on top of that you should make silver earnable in game, and no you wont farm 1000 in a week. heres how it should go raid completion(once per week):5 silver nightfall reward: 3 silver(rng ofc) 100 strike completion: 2 silver 50 daily bounty completion:1 silver people can either take time and farm or just pay.shouldnt be one way or the other. should be both. its STİLL a huge disrespect for day 1 players like me and many many more. You are just welcoming players Bungie, not protecting or respectinf them at all

What do the vets get? A shader, emblem and a sparrow. What do newbies get? A sick sparrow, cool emblem, AWESOME shader, AND A -blam!-ING SWORD. What about us day one players???

Helped one friend buy a PS4 last year so we could game together and then got him into Destiny. Had another friend get a PS4 before TTK dropped. I got the Collector's and gave my old copy to him. But, you know, I don't get those cool refer-a-friend perks because I got friends to play Destiny during year one.

5 RespuestasWhat do you think about this idea? Instead of the "refer a friend quest" Bungie should have done something different. They say they want sherpas do a favour. That's a good thing but the implementation isn't well. So what's about doing "Raid-Sherpas" a favor. Something like to take someone with you who never finished Oryx. If you do so you get a special reward or your whole team have increased chances of good loot or whatever. This will change something in this Community. Instead of you must have (insert weapon/lightlevel) there are posts like "you have to be new to Raids". I think this could be a benefit for the Community instead of grabbing higher revenues.

2 RespuestasIt's funny how this company, usually after hearing so many complain, will change to just BARELY meet the demands of the consumer just to keep them barely on the hook and pulling on the line just enough to make sure you're still there. Then they let more line out (do s*** to make people complain). Rinse and repeat.... Yet with all this you guys keep buying the s*** hoping that it changed. That to me showed that most of us are insane... Me personally I came back and enjoyed taken king but realized how quickly this s*** got boring and don't think I will return for a very long time... for the simple reason that I started playing other games again and realized what I have been missing because of my ADDICTION.. I mean who gives a f*** about "new" weapons/armor with "new" perks if they are just going to be used on the same missions and same worlds. I mean WHAT THE HELL ARE WE DOING TO OURSELVES!?!?!

We can't even start alternate accounts to help each other get the stuff because you have to buy ttk on that account... I have defended this game before from raging rivers of salt, but I'm done. 1 RespuestaRefer a friend just pisses me off. Just like the UK pricing, the Collectors edition fiasco, and only some year one exotics coming to year two. If Bungie introduced this when TTK came out, hell even in August when I convinced my friend to buy Destiny, then we would have been happier. I understand that this is really meant for stuff like Christmas, but [i]so many people[/i] would've wanted this when convincing their friends to buy TTK.

2 RespuestasIt's pathetic I know but this little pay gate quest has pissed me off so much for some reason it was the final push I needed to take a break. Started up Halo:MCC for the first time and figured out, wow, this is what a game is supposed to be like. And knowing I don't have to replay content makes me want to spend some time looking and appreciated the world and the game. Thanks Bungie. Keep it up.

2 RespuestasYeah this whole "we are rewarding sherpas!" thing is bullshit. More like "we want you to sell people our game for us!" If they made it so the quests were more like "complete _______ raid while linked with a guardian who has never done it" that would be rewarding sherpas. This is easily just a manipulation to sell more copies. Fail, once again, on Bungie's part.

Funny. When I got my 3 beta codes I recall that as being "referring". I handed those out to my friends. They bought the game. They bought the DLC. They still raid with me today. Now, we all quit. Yes you heard right. We started our legend together, we are ending it together. Better games have came out and it's time to move on. Destiny is stale, and 80% of us realize it. If 80% of us move on it will open Bungies eyes. Thank you for reading.
