Why i hate Destinys scoring system
Clash = Team Deathmatch
Team Deathmatch sole objective is Kills
i just played a match where we Lost with more kills
Our team had a total of > 81 Kills
Their team had a toatal of > 70 kills
They won by 2000 points ... im done with this game
(have pic if you dont believe me and the entire game no one left or joined)

2 RespuestasI love the fact that Bungie encourages assists. It's a team game. I shoot at every one that's not part of my team. I don't care if someone else is already shooting. I don't care when I'm the first to engage and get an assist. That means my team is watching my back. When I'm low on kills, I look to see how many assists I had. If I end with 5 kills, that sucks, but then I see double digit assists and I know I still helped my team.

Assists contribute to overall score. Kill=100 or 110. Kills with an assist=150 or 160

2 RespuestasIf you were playing inferno clash I would agree with you. In regular clash there are other ways to earn points, including assists, revenge kills, close calls, super kills, multi kill bonuses, ect...

2 RespuestasI think it's smart, honestly. A lot of people rush in with shotguns, and trade. Those people aren't doing shit for the team. Hell, if they melee traded with you, the enemy team got MORE points. The people that stay back, but get more medals, assists, etc, are actually contributing to the team, even if they have less kills. It's all still playing the objective, but medals promote actually knowing what you're doing, and doing more than just running in with weapon class X.
