Luck in the chamber now only applies to precision targets.
Am I the only one who finds this the most ridiculous -blam!-ing thing ever? Besides a max armor HoS a headshot ends you no matter what, right? So what use is it to make luck in the chamber proc ONLY on precision damage which would kill almost any player as it is.
Edit: I'm amazed at how many people don't understand the concept of a RANDOM bullet proccing this damage and thus LUCK in the chamber. This isn't something that can be abused in any way like final round was. For the record, yes, I do enjoy sniping and unlike some idiot says no I never aim FOR the body. It's awesome if someone jumps into your shot or you screw up your shot and it hits the body and it procs getting a kill. It's just an "oh shit" moment.
And before you say it's a crutch look at yourself. I don't use shotguns almost at all, I never used thorn until the end of year one and that was very brief. Take your sliding, fellwinter's, spamming shit elsewhere.
Their ENTIRE purpose for year two was to make it so that you had a variety of weapons to choose from in any given activity instead of a "must-have" weapon like Gjallarhorn. That's why we no longer have elemental primaries. Now they just nerf talents into the ground making less weapons viable for a given activity.

13 RespuestasUnder no circumstances should you be reward a kill for a bodyshot.

Editado por Benzene21: 11/22/2015 9:16:35 PMlol people really don't understand this?? It is useless in PvP, which is the point! Completely useless? No! It is very useful in PvE, which where it was meant to be used!

2 RespuestasI've gotten 1-hit body kills using the erirene
-
5 RespuestasThe point of lucky rounds only working on precision for snipers is because players got tired of being 1HKO'd by body shots in PvP. While I could have lived with it, I don't feel that guns should reward luck over skill like that. So this is what they did to make players happy in PvP but still keeping the perk useful in PvE.
-
1.)Everyone knows if you get the first shot to proc as luck you can keep it there permanently until you return to orbit. 2.) why are you pretending pve does not exist? Pvp is a small portion of this game. 3.) cry me a river crutches.
-
I feel like they should give LiTC a buff since they're taking away the ability for it to proc with body shots. It should be 2x damage instead of whatever the hell it is now. By increasing it to 2x, it'll help PvE players, and PvP won't be affected because a precision shot with current LiTC increase will still kill, so 2x is just over kill and doesn't change anything.

1 RespuestaI feel like high aim assist is much more cheap than litc. Ya you might get a bonus kill every once in a while. I don't even equip my litc sniper cuz 1000 yard stare gets me kills more frequently

1 RespuestaEditado por Alias11: 11/22/2015 6:57:53 PMThe thing is, it is incredibly annoying to see the same weapon popping up all the time when you look at what killed you. With snipers, the 1000 Yard Stare already shows up insanely often. Having Eiriene with a good roll come out meant that we finally started to see at least a little variety in sniper usage. Now that is being taken away, so 90% of deaths to snipers will be 1000 yard stare once again.
-
2 RespuestasIt's because LitC encourages body shots. I've seen people doing nothing but body shots hoping for LitC. Glad they're taking it away.
-
Just shut up, if you never aim FOR the body then this shouldn't affect you. "Oh but now I won't get a rare lucky kill", and? So what?
-
Its almost like pve actually exists.
-
Problem is that bungie struggles to find the right balance between pve and pvp. It was meant to be a pve game and now pvp ruins its elements and weapons/classes!!!!
-
You're sad.
-
I hope this is satire and if this isn't well it just means it's not supposed to matter in pvp which is why the perk is being nerfed to not actually matter there now instead of it being a crutch for people to body shot others. In pve it still is fine as it is
-
Satire??
-
I think it helps balance it with all the aim assist on 1000 yard. But whatever, i just use a different one.
-
No sniper should one shot body shot. Move along.
-
They should make it a guaranteed precision proc. That way it still has a use. Hit a HoS in the head and it dies. All 4 shots. That would give me a reason to use it over my stare
-
It becomes a PvE sniper instantly. It will still apply to Golgorath or any PvE boss, really pointless for PvP though.
-
If you use Litc in pvp and go for body shots you're trash.
-
You sound like a pve scrub
-
They've turned LiTC into a PvE perk, basically.
-
Its a crutch (I usually use sidearms in pvp so you got nothing on me)
-
I was upset about LiTC change because it becomes an irrelevant PvP and then I got the same Eirene with the holo scope and Performance bonus instead of LiTC, not sad anymore.
-
The mistake in your entire argument is that you claim it cannot be abused. Aim for only body shots and profit, that is pure abuse for awful snipers. It is a crutch, plain and simple.
-
Have you ever thought that it's a PVE perk and always should be? Nah, probably because you're bad.
