"In a way, it's everything a hacker could possibly need. Computers, hard drives, hardware all the new tech." He got up, also looking around the room. He walked towards the four tv's
English
-
"I'm assuming those are for keeping track of something important, or broadcasting to the whole room."
-
"That's exactly what it is used for." He held out his hand, the electricity from the room flowing towards his hand as it spins and travels around his arm.
-
She raises her eyebrows, watching.
-
"The perks of being a hacker." All the tech screens went black as the electricity flowed out of it.
-
She grins. "Nice light show, but what was the reason?" She laughs.
-
"The electricity makes my sword more powerful as it can conserve the power." The electricity flows to the sheathe of the sword on his back, once finished the sword fell into the sheathe making a click sound
-
She nods. "So not only is this room a playground, but it's also a battery." She chuckles. "Id hate to see Lance's power bill."
-
"Well technically the entire city is a battery, I'm just doing this now because of the recent attack he had."
-
Her jaw drops. "What?"
-
"Yeah, lance's place got attacked earlier today."
-
She slams a fist down on a table. "He didnt tell me. Son of a bïtch." She mumbles. "So what's draining electricity got anything to do with this place getting attacked?"
-
"Getting prepared Incase he gets attacked again." He walked over to her and sensed the tension coming from her. He walked behind her and placed his hand over hers. "Easy, Trinity."
-
Her body visibly relaxes, as she leans back in the chair, her hair falling over the back of it. "Sorry." She half smiles.
-
He rubbed her shoulders "Don't worry about it. We're as tough as they get, and I wouldn't let anything happen to you or Lance, or any of our friends."
-
She sighs, closing her eyes. "yeah, I believe you. Did he tell you about the new guy? Jacob I think?"
-
"Yeah, he told me about him. An old friend of his, I just hope his old friend didn't turn out like mine." He rubbed her shoulder, making her feel relaxed and comfortable.
-
he's talking about the wolves right?
She lets out a breath of air, her eyes still closed. "God you are really good at this. And yeah, I hope so too. Lance seems to like the guy a lot."
-
No, he's talking about the two boys he grew up with, who he considered family, where all three of them were thieves and he had to kill them because they were corrupted.
He chuckles and continued to massage her "Yeah I hope so too. He's had enough bad luck already."
-
"Yeah. I agree there." Her breathing gets lighter, as he massages, and it seems as if she dozed off.
ah, okay.
-
"Asleep already babe?" He stepped out and in front of her.
-
She does appear to be asleep, her chest rising and falling steadily.
-
"Ah well, it is pretty late." He picked her up and carried her out of the tech room, looking for her room.
-
He remembers Lance telling him all of his close friends had rooms on the ninth floor.
-
He walked to the elevator and pressed the 9th button. He stand their looking at Trinity.
-
She looks much more peaceful in sleep then she does awake. Her eyes can't show that past she is so burdened with. Her blue-gray hair frames her face in a way that makes her look almost innocent. The elevator reaches the 9th floor and opens to reveal a massive bedroom with Lance laying in a huge bed, reading a book, along with many tables, dressers, and wardrobes around the room, swords and art adorning the walls. Lance sees you and raises his eyebrows at Trinity in her bra and asleep in his arms.
