edit: whoa this is trending! found out the only source that said all dlc is paid for was kotaku and they were wrong... i think...

Don't care because I have critical reading skills and never once thought we were getting free DLC in terms of expansions. Sorry to break it to you folks, but that's just not the way the world works.
-
Not surprised. I doubt I'll buy dlc though.

3 RespuestasChange one of thoes to,"kinda sad"

If you're pissed, that's because you bought into the rumor, so you only have yourself to blame. If you blame Kotaku, then maybe you should ask them to look into their "inside sources." Or maybe they should have made that article an opinion piece rather than what they did. Doesn't matter to me, because when I see "anonymous" or any of its synonyms with regard to sources, it is already unreliable. Hope for the best, expect nothing. And biased poll is biased.

I mean, I understand but there's nothing I can do that will change their mind...

1 RespuestaWhat confirmation? What did I miss?

Capitalism at its best.

1 RespuestaI'm pissed at Kotaku
-
Meh, could care less. Will continue to play either way.
-
Whoever thought that we'd get free DLC in the first place deserves to feel annoyed for being so dimwitted in the first place.
-
What happened?

1 RespuestaAnybody who thought that was going to happen was just kidding themselves

Get your rock...off my map

9 RespuestasI dont really care and I don't see why people are making a big deal about the emotes. If you don't want them don't buy them. It's just like anything else.
-
4 RespuestasDestiny won't matter to me after November 10th so who cares?
-
They never said dlcs would be free. They said the emotes were for the live support team and specail events.
-
4 RespuestasYes, kotaky is the one that said that, not Bungie.
-
It would have been nice, but let's be real, that was completely unrealistic. We've bought dlc before, and we will do so again if we feel like there is value in the game. Why turn off that cash flow?
-
Ever get something for free that was good? No strings attached. Not a buy one get one free. How awesome was PSN when it was free? Free healthcare? Free vehicle checkup? Free is always as cheap as it can be. It'll break or become otherwise useless in a very short time. And before the free to play games come up most of them are pay to win so that doesn't really make them free either.

2 RespuestasWhy would people be upset when the devs never confirmed free dlc. "Our plan is to use these new items to bolster the service provided by our live team for another full year, as they grow and create more robust and engaging events that we’ll announce later this year. It has been, and continues to be, our goal to deliver updates to the game. Going forward, our live team is also looking to grow beyond vital updates and improvements to focus on world events, experiences, and feature requests. " Quote is from the eververse dev blog. Nowhere in there did they mention anything about free dlc. All they mentioned was updates, events, world events, and feature requests.

People who are stupid are pissed. Are you stupid?
-
The money from silver is and always has been going to the live team. Bungie stated so themselves. The development team is who makes the dlc and the money from silver is not going to them to help fund development for the game.

1 RespuestaHow would Activision buy out additive phone app companies for BILLIONS if we're not paying for DLC's.... kind of selfish of yourself, Don't ya think? http://m.ign.com/articles/2015/11/03/activision-blizzard-acquiring-candy-crush-saga-giant-king-for-59-billion
-
I'm baffled anyone thought otherwise. Why would they? Every idiot that went batshit over Luke's "throw money at screen" interview is slow clapping enthusiastically at someone doing the thriller right now.

1 RespuestaEditado por Sleepy: 11/4/2015 10:52:19 PMWhy the hell would people think that Activision would give us something for free? All the money we pay is probably going straight into their pockets, and if it's not going in their pockets it's being used to make more content that they'll over charge us for.
-
When did they confirm that? I think you are taking a strangers word as confirmation.
