My Colleague worked as a Security Assistance for Bungie.
Basically, he would monitor people who had altered connections and Cheating Reports.
In the end, their team Banned more people in one day of Trials than they did ever since Destiny began.
Over 15.000 Players received penalties.
They do work. You just can't see it.
And just because you can't see it, it doesn't mean it's not happening.

They need to give some form of conformation to this effect though. Many here have stated that they've seen people still using the same tricks time after time with nothing being done about it. This is the main issue people have.
