Why a Spartan would beat a Guardian
Spartans' motion tracker reveals close range targets.
Guardians' does not.
Spartan gets in CQ and runs circles around Guardian

Guardians don't seem to have a better strategy than [b]space magic[/b] and relying on their ghost to save them.
Ghosts can't revive if they are destroyed. A Spartan AI could fight with the ghost while the Guardian and Spartan fight.

11 RespuestasActually nothing would beat anything, the fight itself is illogical. Both universes work with and abide by a completely separate set of rules. Space magic ain't a thing in Halo, and as far as we know humanity was not prepared for alien attacks in Destiny. It's not just illogical, it's unfair. Sure Halo may have been written better but lore-wise a Guardian is just more powerful than a Spartan. It's about as fair of a fight as Superman vs Goku, sure Goku may be way cooler but Superman is purposely supposed to be basically invincible, the two universes work differently and one is bound by obstacles that simply do not exist in the other. Unlike Spartans, guardians aren't as lab tested, so we don't know the limits of what they can do. We do know that they can travel faster than light unaided, their supers can be used as much as they want provided they have energy (lore context), and many other things. A warlock can split reality with a gesture. Spartans flip tanks and punch things. It's not hard to see that what little we do know about guardians from both lore and in game content shows that they are at the very least formidable opponents that all but the Master Cheif would struggle to fight, let alone win (The Cheif has enormous amounts of luck on his side which is why there is no contest).

Yeah Spartians don't have light but gaurdians do. That like saying Luke skywalker would lose a fight with Harry potter just cause there no such thing as the force in Harry potter. 1 Respuesta1) guardians have motion trackers too. I don't know what the exact difference is between theirs and a spartans, but seems to me they both pretty much function the same. No advantage/disadvantage there. 2) Spartan would run circles around guardian? What exactly are you talking about? Unlike guardians, I don't remember Spartans having any special melee abilities in the last halo game I played. 3) I'm not convinced the ghost could simply be hacked. Regardless, guardian doesn't need it to fight. Just to open doors. So this argument, like the other two, is wrong. Fail.

I don't know why people keep saying that ghost can be hack by cortana and be destroyed when there's never been any proff this could happen. Yes Cortana can be the superior AI but you can't hack a ghost. It part of the traveller and is made of light. The shell is just the form it takes. The only reason we see dead ghost is cause the light was drained out of it and seeing that halo dosnt have a concept of light then there no way to compare it. All you people saying Cortana can destroy a ghost are wrong.

Energy weapon projectiles drain spartan shields super fast but make no difference to guardian shields. Supers. Gjallarhorn? Shoulder Charge. Blink. Ghost revives, except in a darkness zone. VS Better training.
