Max level gear pretty much came from the raid Ethric light was way to easy to get after some time so they made something that people had to earn with all the req and still couldn't reach the light level they wanted without infusion maybe 2 or 3 310 pieces of gear. A few guns were being used because they were broken and no one wanted to even try and use something else. Everybody uses a sniper rifle like black spindle or 100-yard because it's the best option for damage. But people use different supers depending on what part of the raid it is (i'm guessing) Because i for sure would be using sunbreaker through most of the raid until i came to a boss in which case i'd change to defender. The reason it's to unpredictable because almost everyone could reach the max level within 1/2 weeks of playing before tkk. Now because people actually have to grind for multiple pieces of gear and not just 4 pieces it actually slows people down and stops them complaining about how we have nothing left to do. Still haven't seen one person hit 310 since before hard mode came out.
