12 days until Destiny dies and 17 until its buried
Black ops 3 and fallout 4 are gonna be all Destiny needs to die.
So what do you think will happen?

Destiny won't die. People will still play it, just like they always have. Don't get me wrong, Fallout 4 and my Pip-boy are going to utterly destroy my social life. Though I'll eventually come back when I need a break, so will many others. Destiny won't be dying anytime soon.

I don't think anything will kill it but player counts will definitely decrease as all of these AAA launches each take a few

2 RespuestasThe only game that may really take me out of Destiny (1-2 months), is The Division. I'll buy Halo when it's $30, don't want to pay $60 for a Call of Halo game.

Have been seeing this sort of posts for over a year and Destiny is just as strong as ever.

They are new games, so ofcourse people will scatter to play them. For some reason though, dispite its problems, Destiny is unexplainably addictive and surprisingly enduring. I suspect we will have people coming back to it anyway. Besides, Call of Duty hasnt really changed since the first Black Ops - sure its fun for a bit, but still is the same game prettied up

5 RespuestasBLOPS 3 is not going to resurrect the COD franchise from what the last 2 years have done to the franchise. Plus, the CoD model is getting old and played out. Basically boring. The last 2 years I wasted money on CoD. I played BOTH a combined 10 hours. Both were junk. Now, I had hope for Blops3. I played the beta and it felt like I was playing Advanced Warfare due to the gimmicky exo-skeleton crap. I was hoping for a BLOPS2 feel since that was the best one I ever played. Fallout 4 is up in the air. Fallout 3's combat system was slow and clunky to me. If Fallout 4's combat is the same, I won't be spending $60 on it.

Fallout 4 will take me good. CoD i will pass. Never liked. I will play Destiny, but with less frequency.

You ever play Fallout? They are completely different animals. I loved the last two Fallouts on PC, but I'm liking this shared world thing.

Did you just say CoD was going to stomp out a different game? If you watch BO3, it's literally the same mechanics as Destiny.

Already ordered Fallout so will be fully concentrating on that once all 3 of my toons have completed Hard Raid. Just until the next installment anyway... Quite like the look of The Division as well so maybe give that a bash...

1 RespuestaIt seems like since titanfall and destiny, CoD has gotten all "cartoony" with the movements and gameplay (ie rocket pack jumping and wall running). The draw to CoD was it was a somewhat realistic shooter. CoD has been dead for a few years now.

3 RespuestasHow does 'commercial competition' get confused with 'hostile corporate takeover'? Whenever a new game is released, it doesn't mean that every game that was published beforehand will then become obsolete. Finish high school. Then make economic forecasts. In that order.
