Is reload canceling cheating?

1 RespuestaI reload cancel almost every weapon. The reload timer prevents you from firing rounds until it expires. Try this for yourself if you are unsure or don't believe. After you reload a mag and charge it, sprint to cancel any further animations. Aim down sights immediately after canceling the animation and try to fire a shot. Even while spamming the trigger, the weapon won't fire until the reload timer finishes.

It still doesn't fire till the reload would have normally finished. Only advantage is it lets you line up your shot quicker.

Not cheating. I have a really bad habit of reloading after every kill and if I see someone mod reload I can cancel and continue shooting. If you cancel before the mag gets filled there's no delay in shooting.

You still have to wait the amount of time the animation would have taken, so no it isn't cheating lol. People seem to think it was different somehow??? I've been sprinting to cancel my reload animation since day 1 and I've always had to wait the full amount of time it would have taken to reload before my gun can shoot.. I just like sprinting asap to get places faster.

I've noticed on certian weapons. My hung jury cancels just fine. My most notable delay is on the hawksaw. Too many times I've sprinted mid reload to wind up with an empty magazine. I mostly blame it on the fact that I usually run scout loader perks.

18 RespuestasIt's not, but with this most recent patch they actually nerfed it. You used to be able to click sprint to cancel the animation and keep shooting right away. Now, if you animation cancel, you can't shoot until the animation would have been over anyways if you hadn't cancelled it. Not happy about that at all.

It isn't reload cancelling with a shotgun. That's how they work in any game. If you're single loading rounds you really can just start shooting again when needed. And yes final round with this is awesome.

They are the scum on the bottom of the true hard working guardians shoe. They are worse than welfare abusers and drug dealers. Just play the game, why do people have to cheat at things...
