Bungie ruined Xur
Yep, totally ruined. I used to look forward to every Friday but now I just expect Xur to be selling armor and the stupid heavy legacy engram (which has yet to change to any other type since TTK launched). It was a nice surprise to see the Hereafter last week, but I already had it. I don't understand why they had to make him stop selling weapons every week, you still had to grind for strange coins so it's not like people were getting free stuff. Stop listening to the people complaining about how others got their gear, this is a freaking video game and is supposed to be fun.

3 RespuestasApart from the heavy engram reaper I have not noticed xur repeat anything for multiple weeks. On top of that!...he has been selling one new unique year two item each week. A guantlet for all and at least a few interesting new helmets. Xur is far less broken then he ever was in year one.

Hahaha it's funny me and my friend would talk on Thursdays about how we would wake up Friday's and could smell the sh*t that xur was selling, we'd both go to the tower and say "ohhhh that's why it smells bad at the tower. Xur arrived" the one time we said it smelt good at the tower during the weekend was when he sold Gjallahorn, but nothing he Sells anymore is worth it besides maybe 3 of coins (which I have terrible luck with by the way).

Xur currently has abour 3 slots for armor (one for each class), 1 slot for ANYTHING (Which can be more an engram or a weapon) and a legacy engram. He did have Hawkmoon not too long ago, if I recall correctly.... It's just more... RNG-driven now. Sometimes he does. Sometimes he doesnt. Bleh.

6 RespuestasI actually think weapon acquisition is in a great place right now. This is the first version of Destiny where I get weapons soon after, if not just as fast, as YouTubers. The Gunsmith, Quests, 3 of Coins... It's all pretty good stuff. Now Xur... He has been diminished a bit but not completely. I still check out what he's selling and I do still buy stuff.

They lied when they said they don't control xur...they basically feed us bs from day one...it was sort of clear but I ignored it...but seeing the raid drops now?...bungie totally drank Activision Kool aid

I agree, how about some exotic primary weapon, dame all the grind to get coins for xur and all we get is armor, come on man!! (Reference ESPN Sunday football morning show) armor is nice but include weapons!!

Xur is a joke now. I also no longer look forward to his arrival. They should just make him a permanent vendor with a weekly rotating stock because he no longer sells anything worth while anymore. As for fun, Bungie has effectively removed that from the game.....enjoy! lol

We need an Exotic shard every time we infuse an Exotic item. Xur should be selling them again. Also a lot of us struggled against RNGesus to land all our year one exotics, why should we have to grind all over again to get year two versions of that gear. Xur should be offering an exchange of year 1 exotics for their year two versions. Respect our time played on this game.

2 RespuestasI don't think there is anything wrong with Xur. He shouldn't sell a weapon every week as it just makes people expect to get everything without actually doing much. I earned all the exotics I have through playing the game the right way.

The weapon of the week is what made Xür enjoyable. The armor was always secondary.

3 Respuestasi see xur has a cupple really cool new helms for the warlock and titan, and a crappy year 1 for hunter, annd i ALMOST started playing again, till i seen that and read that i will only have 2 shots on my bow, destinys a joke. this game is finished. they played the players too much, screwed the vanilla players(yes i have all DLCs) im just supporting the actual community not sucking up to a multi-million dollar corp like most retards do as to why you have more and more games being sold incomplete and finnish through another $80 of DLC. Gonna play halo and battlefront and thats about it for xbox for me for a while, NOT touching a BUNGIE or activision TITLE again, thank 343 from saving halo from this corporate crap

Now Xur gives you two options. Either test your luck with the Strange Coins, which is better for the players that are more Hardcore. Or buy the Exotic your missing for the casual players. Both sides benefit heavily on this. I have gotten almost every year two exotic and the only one I bought from Xur were the Impossible Machines.

2 RespuestasI like the fact he doesn't always sell weapons anymore. It felt like you didn't really have to earn them before and now it feels like a nice surprise when he does bring a weapon on occasion.

Maybe I'm the only one who likes to know what I'm buying. I don't buy 3oC because I'm tired of praying to RNGesus. I'll just buy the exotics xur sells and then use glass needles or pull the kiosk version if I really want a specific role. Strange coins are just too valuable to me.
