I've tried posting this on other forums hoping to get a response but to no avail.
There are these strange voices popping up while I play. Not regular npc voices but creepy muffled words repeated over and over in the background music followed with strange clicking static.
The part that freaks me out the most is after these noises go on, an actual person's voice clearly and loudly says "ONE MORE TIME".
I've played this game since release. It's not any voice I have heard before.
This has happened THREE times already. The first time, I was in a private party chat with my girlfriend and the voice popped up. I thought nothing of it because I thought it might have been a glitch in the headset. But it wasn't, as after she logged off I sat idling in orbit waiting in matchmaking with the headset still on. I was alone in the party chat when I heard the strange clicks. I tried tunning up the volume to listen to the muffled voices but I could not understand it. Then all of a sudden the voice popped up again, "ONE MORE TIME".
I was dropped into a fresh match of skrimish and as soon as the match started I checked to see if anyone was talking. They weren't. Nobody was in a fireteam and my own fireteam privacy was set to closed.
Now a couple minutes ago I start to hear voices in the background music again as I'm playing a crucible match. I keep going and the voice pops up again. I saved the clip both times this happened and nothing is heard in the video.
It's really starting to creep me out and I want to know why this happens.
Edit: Got too many people thinking this is a troll. It's not.
Re-edit: I thought initially the phrase uttered was "Another one." but after hearing it a fourth time awhile ago it says "One more time." I am trying to record it with my phone and will link it if I manage to catch it.
Re-re-edit: I have attached a link to the recording I managed to get. I was in a party chat when I started to heard the voices so I grabbed my phone and set it on my lap recording. I tried to mute everyone as quickly as I could but couldn't do it fast enough to aim it at my tv. Believe it or don't but those sounds are coming within the game. I am trying to get better footage (aimed at the tv) and will post it here if the voices do come up again.

One of the robots in the tower s occasionally will say " one more time" when you walk by and somtimes in orbit I'll here tower chatter
-
Daft Punk.... One more time...
-
Yeah sloppy sound edits i think. I've sat in orbit before too and heard the tower chatter.
-
I've heard it too. Sloppy sound editing.
-
So I've never actually tried just staying dormant in orbit before but when I just did it I heard a ticking sound almost like when someone rattles there headset to put it on then I heard faint whispering like muttering something and it stops I haven't heard "one more time" at all though. It's definitely in the game it's odd like hidden behind the game music. It's got me intrigued.

If this was actually something there'd be more people with the same experience.

Sounds like Subliminal messages to me! Maybe Bungie added this to try and get people hooked to the game subconsciously? Very interesting!

Editado por Guardian0359: 10/19/2015 8:54:40 PMYou should research into it sounds creepy though it would probably cause me to play more in hopes of hearing it as well but the game does have an odd effect on me at times like I will feel more paranoid or think things are out of place.

3 RespuestasSubliminal messaging ?! :O Imagine 'One more time' mixed with clicks and different sounds Maybe that's why it's so addictive and we feel the need to play it just that one more time Haha
-
Most likely crap recording quality inside new sound track.

2 RespuestasDoes the phrase sound practiced or just like some random guy talking? I'm wondering if it is a directed line. Is it always the same?

1 RespuestaEditado por Halcyon: 10/19/2015 11:59:53 PMWere you using the Touch of Malice? When you use up all 10 rounds before you start sacrificing your life force as ammunition for the weapon, you can hear the weapon speak to you rather eerily when the Hive magic is finally freed from its containment capsule (the black matter located in the middle.)

Haunted?
-
I've heard it as well, most likely something to do with the hard mode raid coming up.

3 RespuestasThere is a phenomena like that when you are in or near certain rooms on the dreadnought. Creepy as hell but not sure if it is similar to what you are describing.

1 RespuestaEditado por Richard Wang: 10/19/2015 3:45:54 PMDon't be offended please but do you use any type of drug while playing Destiny? Like inhalants or chemical drugs that have K2 as an ingredient? Even natural remedies like jipsen weed or ipomoea tea?

2 RespuestasCan you record it on the console? Not sure if you're playing on PS4/Xbox1 This is very interesting if true.
-
It's subliminal messages. Bungles way to psychologically keep you playing. Based on how rampage the Desticles defend Bungie it must be working.
-
You're hearing the voice of Satan.

2 RespuestasI think the muffled voices before are saying "Call me Elf" Dinklebot?

2 RespuestasEditado por Gu4rdi4n Down: 10/18/2015 10:26:03 PMHappens to me too, only today I was in the tower and heard a female voice say... "Down again and up again" followed by "hmmmmm bad rattle" , a male voice then said "do you speak golden age German" it's scary shit man, I think my game may be possessed..

2 RespuestasDo you own touch of malice? I've heard the same shit, 99.9% it's having touch of malice equipped

This sounds an awful lot like the voices that I hear when no one is around

1 RespuestaWhy did you edit this post? Earlier you claimed you heard the voice say 'ANOTHER ONE', but now it reads to say 'ONE MORE TIME'. You even made reference to the 'ANOTHER ONE' phrase is a response below. A little context for this change would help now. If you have more details/evidence then I would append your original post w/ an edit to keep proper context. If this is not a troll as you claim, then this is a somewhat disturbing artifact. Don't discredit your claim by clouding facts.
