My concern is that only a small percentage of the population really bothers with The Raids and as such the difference in Light lv. between someone who has Hard Raid gear and someone who can't get past the 300 Light wall will be humongous.
In turn, Bungie will continue to build content that all these max lighters won't be able to breeze through with ease ( Black Spindle quest, Sleeper Simulant S>A.B.E.R. 2 mission with 280 requirement ) and because the power gap between Raiders and Non Raiders will be so huge most of the player base will be locked out of these future quests and missions.

Yet i have the black spindle only 2 goes , the sleeper simulant 1st time and done the S.A.B.E.R strike on 280 (got Barons Ambition) etc etc etc kinda breezed through them at 294/5 light but have never been past the Warpriest, i'm nearly 50 years old with a visual problem that gets me kicked from the raid (iv'e never complained ) i don't think it's a problem having a gap, (maybe one day i'll do the raid) if i find some good people to play with.
-
you mean exactly like it was before
-
True. It has always been true even back to the VoG. Raids give best gear and if you don't raid you have to live with ALWAYS being a tier lower. I don't see them changing anything. I have ground to no end and I am sitting at 299 and won't get any higher without the Raid. I'll deal with it until I feel compelled to Raid.
-
Well this is how the games works. You have to do the harder stuff to get the better stuff. Suck it up and stop whining.

What he said

Whambulance is needed.
-
If a player couldn't easily get through the stimulant quest he's incapable. Unless he's under 280 light that is.
-
If anything the hard raid is just to keep the try-hards happy, but that 320/330 level gear will be just given away by vendors in a few months when harder level solo content drops.
-
Why don't people understand that this hard content is meant for the more dedicated players? Why do people want Bungie to just hand max level gear to everyone? That would make the game a lot less fun and make the harder content pointless. A game should reward the players that are the most dedicated and finish the harder content. The raids should always give players better gear than the gear the players that don't do the raid can get, its that simple.
-
They can have the 320 gear but I should be able to get to 310 then without raiding. I have no issue with people that commit their lives to the raid getting better gear. There just shouldn't be such a large gap That's what causes the BS elitist attitudes that prevent others from raiding to begin with.
-
The 320 gear is going to come from the hard mode raid. There is nothing in this game that requires you to be even 310 aside from the hard raid. So basically you just want a number next to your name? That makes no sense. That sounds like an elitist thing to want. And I easily found a group to do the raid that were patient and cool while we all learned the mechanics. Its not hard, you just have to look. It seems like every one with everything in life these days wants what they want and they want it NOW, they want to put in no work to get it. You aren't going to get 310 doing nothing you will have to grind your ass off to get to 300 and then get 310 drops from 3oC to infuse, OR you will have to put time and effort into finding a decent group to clear the raid. OR you could cry on the forums and waste time that you could be using to level up and get nothing.
-
You couldn't be more wrong. I have close to 1300 hours in the game and have done the grind. Between 300 to 310 helps me prepare to do the easy raid and eventually the hard raid. Just because someone ran the raid early and grabbed some high level gear doesnt make them a hard worker...what a joke. Being able to achieve over 300 without raiding isn't elitist at all. If I said I was ENTITLED to 320 gear without working for it then maybe. I don't feel like I'm owed 320 gear. I feel that I paid for the game and should be able to maintain a respectable gap with those that are at 320. If they raise the raid level to 320 plus they should raise the non raid possible to 310.
-
Exactly. Why reward people that don't want to play the game? That's like saying "ok I beat the main story quest, now give me everything!!" What's the fun in that? I love the challenge!! If I got everything right off the bat, the game would be boring and I would play something else. The grinding and collecting, make me come back for more!!
-
Editado por love god: 10/16/2015 8:05:39 PMHaha don't want to do it is not the same as cannot or cannot find non aholes to do it with. People kick out or don't even try to teach or help if theres nothing in it for them.
-
Why can't you? Do you know what you're doing in the raid?? Before I did the raid, I watched what to do and what to expect videos on you tube. LFGd and did the raid!!! It's not that hard. Literally the biggest part of the raid is communication and doing what your part is in the team. This will get it done in a timely fashion. I don't have 10 hrs to dink around, trying to explain, wait for a new player, etc. so if you wanna raid, do your homework and come raid!! :)
-
Haha the other side is what fun is it to watch a vid then do it. You don't have time to hold some ones hand right? But if someone one was a dedicated player they should know elitism will kill a game they like. Ps i beat it but just that big asshat.
-
I get it. It is frustrating finding a good team. If and when I have the extra time, I do enjoy helping people. But when time is limited, I don't mess around ;) it's really frustrating when you got a team that has never done it, fight and bicker about how it should be done, then you try and help them and it becomes this free for all!! Face palm and then I bug out lol

Because most gamers on destiny aren't hardcore. Like myself most people are casual gamers and don't have time to spend hour on hours playing the damn raid, regardless of difficulty
-
So why do you need max level gear?
-
Bcz I want it to do any ttk activities. With the raid being the only way to get gear, all casual gamers are gonna b stuck with low light armor/weapons
-
Not true at all, I hit 300 light without ever touching the raid. Go get your exotic sword and grind strikes you can get 300 blue drops and infuse legendaries. Once you hit 300 you can get 310 drops with 3oC.
-
How did you get blues to drop at 300? I've been 299 almost since the beginning of ttk and have yet to see ANY 300 damage weapons drop not from the raid.
-
Editado por Synthet1X: 10/16/2015 8:28:30 PMStrikes can drop 300 blues, its rare, and it takes time. You are sitting at 298 now and there is a 310 exotic sword that you can easily go get without the raid. So why have you not done that yet? You could infuse your helm primary and boots to a high level easily without raiding.
