Bungie is making a BIG Mistake. READ!
So with the introduce of Patch 2.1 Bungie is taking away shot Package from all Shotguns. The Problem here is that People are going to use Shotguns with less Range but a seriously high Fire Rate. So you start shooting earlier and kill them from a mile away. And then the crying begins again.
What is your opinion to this? Oh and Rangefinder is going to be a Thing now.
Edit: Just bumpes this Thread because i was right. Full auto Shotguns Rule the Crucible. They are not OP but i was right.

Would much rather be 3 shot at 4 steps away then 1 shot at 6 steps away. At least they will only have the ammo for it a few times per ammo crate

[spoiler]The salt is strong with this one.[/spoiler] Taking shot package off of shotguns = less shotgun range. Even if you have a high RoF shotty, such as the old Verdict or Invective, if you aren't in a REALLY close range, you won't hit sh*t. Which is how shotguns should be. High-risk, high-reward.

Or if anything leave them the same in pve, they're not the best in pve so bringing it down even more make them usless in every aspect of the game

If they continue nerfing shotguns better take it off the game. Just like fusion rifles, they are continuing making them unviable so soon enough no one is going to use them anymore. They're going to nerf them so bad that using them would be a demonstration of really high skills lol

1 RespuestaI'm ok with the patch. They should have done this from the very beginning. A shotgun should not kill you from so far away. It only enabled the skill-less players to get kills with little to no effort. -blam!- them.

I think that's the point, more people will use a diversity of weapons. There's threads about using fusions again, they died out aaaages ago
