Bungie is a bunch of stat-whores.
They have released stats that they have collected before.
When a weapon/perk is out performing what it's supposed to do, or become the superior choice, it needs to be balanced.
People cried all through year one about Hunters needing to be nerfed. Guess what never happened? Hunter nerfs. Why? They were fairly balanced.
Hand cannons, gjallerhorn, final round snipers, shot package? Not balanced. They needed to be fixed.
You can cry about other people crying all you want, but Bungie has shown they will nerf overpowered items whether or not people complain about them.

Show me once where I am salty about overpowered weapons. I can wait. If disagreeing with you is considered being salty, well, there's nothing I can do for you except recommend you kept the salt out of your eyes. It stings and causes tears.

Ok kiddo, this game started with kids probably like you complaining about the suros and boom nerf, than came vex boom another nerf, than thorn sucked boom buffed and so on and so on. All revolving around kids complaining this and that. NONE of these changes have affected me or will, so many good guns in the game. The point of my post is about destiny bending over backwards to please these kids who cry. Now that is all done and said you can go to bed in your salty bed and enjoy the upcoming nerfs destiny brings up.

See you're missing a step there. Complaining does bring it to their attention. That is where you are right. But, like my previous point about hunter nerfs, complaining doesn't make nerfs happen. And you still haven't actually shown where I am salty. But, I guess that is in line with your thinking style. You can call me kid or salty all you want, it just makes you more wrong.
