Go ahead show me 1 video of shotguns having ridiculous range. Go ahead i will wait.
The excuse is thrown around all the time yet nobody has been able to show 1 video of these "sniper" shotguns. 1 video is all it takes and I will never defend them again and admit I was wrong. Shotguns are designed to reign supreme in close quarters and that's exactly how they perform. So go ahead prove me wrong on this and show me an example of this "sniper" range

So I guess you guys can't back up all the crying after all. Look at all the replies and not a single video other then shotguns working as intended in close range encounters with people literally only a few steps away from each other. Since you can't back up your claims here is my response

For all the crying you guys do about shotguns you would think at least 1 video of shotguns working outside of close range would be posted. Not 1 video in almost 1000 posts. Oh that's right the videos of the close range kills that got posted are definitive proof that shotguns are working outside of close range.

Those moments where it feels like you got shot from a long way away are latency. On the attackers screen they are usually in your face. Players shouldn't be allowed to main shotguns their should be a severe ammo restriction to them along with an initial range reduction. First off, you ran the whole time with a shotgun most of your kills came froma shotgun numb nuts. Yes a lot of players ran into yhe gun but that doesn't mean main the -blam!-ing gun like a primary. Secondly, you compared skill to using a super, an LMG, and to top it all off you stole a massive amount of those kills from other players, your vex kills were examples of such. Supers take hardly any skill to use even a brain dead noob can use supers. Lastly, I saw a Felwinter's Lie which had either shot package or rangefinder on it I'm assuming rangefinder for those unreasonable kills. This video did nothing but prove the point that shotguns deserve yet another nerf. I'm all for making them as useless as they are in PvE in PvP. Since they're shit there theyight as well be in PvP to since that's how Bungie "balances" the game.

5 RespuestasExcept that the mobility and map design allow people to get close easily making people use shotguns like a primary. The range shotguns currently have is too easy to get into right now. Shot package needs removed. It's the only perk anyone goes for and is the reason shotguns can so called "snipe"
