If microtrans can fund the development of new free content, I don't see where all the wailing and gnashing of teeth is coming from. If anything, this prevents the fracturing of the player base that came from the paid expansion model. Remember all the people complaining about losing access to features because of them not having TDB or HoW or TTK and the associated endgame creep? This is a middle ground where everyone can keep playing together while still ensuring constant revenue. Long story short, chill out...life's too short for butthurt...

Free content =/= Free DLC. They will still lock us behind a DLC paywall as well.

Eh, the free content, if any as it is unconfirmed, was probably cut from TTK to use as a selling point for buying into micro transactions anyway. I've given up hope for bungie, never had any for Activision though.

People like to complain just ignore them
-
"If microtrans can fund the development of new free content..." ...it will be to incentivize players to buy more microtransaction content.
-
I agree with you i can't see a problem with an optional microtran that doesn't impact gameplay or your experience
-
Hey guy. You think because they add micros they wont charge for expansions!? Lol. What country did you grow up in.
-
I'm sure he thinks that way because in the press release they said they will be using the funds to support and add content to destiny

You make it sound like bungie/activision are some broke start up
