Reported a red bar last night, AND messaged him.
I told the kid he was red-barring, and that it was an utter pain trying to kill him (the typical disappearing/reappearing in front of you stuff, came in first both times we played him). His response was that it wasn't intentional, and to "suck it". I said "don't play if you're going to make the experience unenjoyable for the rest of the lobby".
So...we play him and his two clanmates again. He kills me literally five or six times and teabags me every time. Of course, I was helpless in that he was basically invulnerable. Is that really necessary?
Edit: Seems to be a lot of red bars here. I'm just saying, I go a step further. Since Bungie doesn't seem to check the reports as much as they should, I will *gladly* message the player I report letting them know I did such.

Eh, one more edit: Can we all agree it would be nice if Bungie could make dedicated servers for this game? It (most likely) won't happen, but we can all dream, right? I know, I know, lots of money to maintain, blah blah blah...but surely they've made a ton during Destiny's infancy to finance it, and also operate on the assumption they will make a ton more money from the future expansions/sequels?

I'm pretty sure the report for poor connection only let's Bungie know so they can use it to help figure out why some people have good connections, why people have bad connections and helps them make ways to try and level the playing field. I doubt that exists so Bungie can ban people that don't live in an optimal zone, so why bother acting like the system isn't working.

I agree that it is really annoying to encounter those players, but everyone wants to get their Crucible bounties or Questlines done eventually, and you can't expect someone to neglect half of the game's content just because their wi-fi connection doesn't meet your standards. I get frustrated finding red bars in pvp, but I'd never tell them to leave. That's disrespectful. The way he handled it was disrespectful too, so I see you both at fault.

Reports for days, every time I throw a shotgun melee on a guy and watch his health bar stay full as he stares at me and kills me. Check bar, report, repeat as necessary.

It happens sometimes. Completely out of my control. If someone in my house is downloading gta v and streaming Netflix at the same time, my internet is not gonna be great.

9 RespuestasDid you know when you make a successful report against a lagger / cheater bungie will email you saying " thank you for helping make Xbox live a safe place - we have taken action against 1 or many of your reports .. I've got at least 15 players banned ( temp) due to them lagging in pvp .. I play on Xbox 1 .. If you lag and come against me , you will be reported by me ,, and God willing you will be banned ..

I live out in the country and we can only get one Internet company, which the main box is about 2 miles out from where I live, farther away I am the crappier Internet becomes. I have 3.75mb download speed and like only .75mb upload speed, but I hate PvP and draw away from it.

There is a way to enjoy completely lag free crucible. Only thing you need is money.

I live in country and have poor Internet. It's more frustrating for the guy red barring. Apologies,feel free to call my Internet provider as I do once a month to complain. Pay for 7 mbps receiving 1mbps.

I report every red bar in a lobby and I report every stand still in strikes. You can reset your router if you know your connection is bad, and you can not search a strike if all you are gonna do is stand there and reap the rewards.
