It may not be. That's why I'm voicing my opinion now. This would just be the first step towards pay to win. Hopefully I'm wrong but the potential for it being implemented is definitely there.

Gateway bruh. This is the start. Next it will be pay for more experience. Then pay for increased drop rates. Then finally you will be able to buy full armor and weapon sets. This is how it all gets started.

I read in that article that they supposedly are doin this micro transactions for the emotes so they can put out free content. If that's the case and they don't sell anything more then cosmetics then wouldn't that good? Point im trying to make us we should see before we flame them, Ill be the first one to bitch if they make gear and such part of it, but till then I'll wait it out and see

I still don't think micro transactions belong in this game. I hope I'm wrong about it eventually going to pay to win. I would rather voice my opinion now instead of down the road if/when they implement this. If it stays cosmetic it's whatever just don't want pay to play to ruin destiny.
