Step 1: The quest "The first firewall is now available for everyone that got the four fusion rifle relics. Once you return to the gunsmith you'll get the quest, as shown here: http://i.imgur.com/aLogKZu.png
Completing the quest will give you the Curios Transceiver, which goes to your quest items and then requires 4 sequential passcodes. The passcodes seem to be identical to the order the knights spawn in the First Firewall mission (Knights and Taken knights representing the values).
Tranceiver passcode input screen: http://imgur.com/NGvBxbB
All codes courtesy of /u/kiki_strumm3er:
Codes (top is 1):
● 1 2 1 1 2 2 2 1 2
● 1 2 1 1 2 2 1 1
● 1 2 2 2 1 2 2 2 1 1
● 1 2 1 2 1 2 1 1
After 4 passcodes you get access to a new mission called Shadow Call which requires you to reach the top of the Devil's Spire (Cayde's Stash mission location) within a time limit to collect your reward, which is the IKELOS Fusion Core.
The Fusion Core requires 5 modules to be repaired.
Heavy Power Coupling - Dismantle any legendary or higher heavy weapon.
Ionized Shell Harmonics - Complete the Archives mission on Venus on any difficulty.
WARSAT//MK19/TERRA/RSPN - Complete a 'Defend the Warsat' public event on Earth.
WARSAT//MK19/LUNA/RSPN - Complete a 'Defend the Warsat' public event on the Moon.
WARSAT//MK19/MARS/CHLM - Complete a 'Defend the Warsat' public event on Mars.
For help finding Warsat events, check out www.destinypublicevents.com. Note that the Warsat at the beginning of the Fallen S.A.B.E.R. strike does not count towards your Earth Warsat completion.
Completing all 5 modules awards you with the Reassembled IKELOS Fusion Core, which must be brought to the Gunsmith. Turning it in results in a dead end, and it seems most likely that the next step is time gated.
Step 2: The Quest Continues, the Gunsmith gives you a Quest saying to Investigate Vault RAS-2 in the Cosmodrone. You need to do the FALLEN S.A.B.E.R stike on light level 280 (level 42) Once completed you will be given a frame, return to the gunsmith and you got yourself the sleeper simulant (attack 290)

I'm willing to bet it's a hard raid reward

Maybe it is linked to Khostov, the first assault rifle you get in the game. This is a golden age relic, it is a gun that could potentially restore Banshees memory of the golden age, and it was supposedly going to be part of an exotic quest.

13 RespuestasHere's a somewhat simple theory: The last fusion rifle relic we turn in prompts Banshee to say the transponders in each of them are signaling back somewhere and they strangely sound like music. Now, this seems (as I'm sure everyone agrees) to be a reference to Rasputin, which I believe as well. However, maybe this hint means we're supposed to go to a place where music plays, as if the transponder is actually near a spot where there's music. The only thing I can think of other than somewhere inside Rasputin himself is scanning stuff around the forgotten shore near one of Rasputin's little signal towers that plays music.

Has anyone thought about entering a code into bungie.net for the quest?

1 RespuestaDuring a dreadnaught patrol we found an orb relic in the large room before the court pf oryx. Was probably a golden age relic you are talking about but I have no idea where to put it.

1 RespuestaThis week will be the first reset since anyone got rank 5 with banshee right? I think so, with the week 1 NF then double rep week 2 because he glitched at TTK launch + 3 more weeks of tests and 2 quests for the guns etc? Maybe tomorrow a bunch of people will get summoned to him if they're already rank 5 at reset? Some other quests are triggered / timed to weekly reset so it wouldn't be too odd

37 RespuestasEditado por OMNISniper: 10/4/2015 6:24:25 PM/u/echolog here! Xbox GT: OMNISniper Thanks for posting this here, I meant to but got caught up in the fake quest that got posted yesterday. :( So yeah, this post basically details the entire questline for the Sleeper Simulant. As far as I can tell, based on the items found in the database, this sequence of events is entirely accurate. What we DON'T know is how to BEGIN the quest. A lot of people think it involves a 5th relic dropping something or doing something with the pocket infinity, but I can say with some certainty that these aren't what we are looking for. We need to get the 'Transponder' from inside the Fusion Rifle Relics that we turn into Banshee. At that point we will receive a quest and a unique mission called 'The First Firewall'. That mission will take us back inside Rasputin's bunker to use the transponder to find the signal (the music mentioned by the gunsmith). From there, you can follow the rest of the main post to see what will happen (but that isn't important for now). ALL WE NEED TO KNOW IS HOW TO GET THE TRANSPONDER. http://destinydb.com/items/2444987010 That is literally the ONLY thing we should be looking into as a community. Once we get this item, the gun is as good as ours. My theory is that this object is part of the relics which we have already turned in to the gunsmith. He will give them to us once we 'restore his memory' according to GameInformer's article (which they got directly from Bungie). So how do we trigger his memory? As I stated earlier, it is EITHER from raising our reputation, or by doing something else, possibly a daily heroic secret or solving some other unknown puzzle. Our best lead on restoring his memory is another hidden quest called 'Shadows of Twilight'. It is a hidden solo-quest that takes you to the PvP map Twilight Gap to fight off the darkness. This is interesting because the gunsmith specifically mentions losing his memory AT TWILIGHT GAP. We're looking in to how to get this quest, but so far we don't have many leads, so any help is appreciated. EDIT: The only other possible thing that I can think of is that I am WRONG about the DVALIN relics being golden age relics, and we actually have to find some OTHER golden age relics. I don't think I'm wrong here, but I don't wanna be the guy that led the community in the wrong direction either. :) Keep hunting!

11 RespuestasNow I know a lot of people think the room under rasputin is the dealing with the ss because of cayde saying "The good stuff is below you." My friend stood at the door for omniguls first appearance and i ran to the end of the code mission. It is literally right below the room. So scratch what Caude says because he's talking about the cloak. But right before the end of the mission is you look opposite of the 6 doors leading into the end room there is a vent. People have tried to destroy it with no success. If you stand the right way however you can dee that its a chute that does down. I pulled out my ghost, since it does a mini sonar, and noticed that the lines just shoot right in there. So maybe that will be something you can break later. Also theres just a slight path change difference for the saber strike and the code mission. If you remember there has been times when you do a mission but with something different happening. One example is the thorn bounty from year 1. You had to take phogoth down to a certain amount of health and now lower. Doing so while killing adds spawned a special wizard to kill. So what if the saber strike while have something like this later in which you go into the vent mentioned above or even omniguls first room inside rasputin. Just a thought.

6 RespuestasIMO, the quest is just currently locked from us. I say this, because I have a quest icon at the tower, but I have no quests in my tab. I give it till mid October, then they will probably unlock it. Or something...

1 RespuestaIt's very likely the Sleeper Stimulant quest is another $20.

Easiest theory. Wear the silent scream emblem where the screams have been silenced
