Sure. Can you answer or approach why, in Y1, raid drops offered elemental damage primaries, though? Or, why there were no raid specific exotics, apart from Vex and Necrochasm(and by that token, there would suddenly be two, now)? Can you explain why the Y2 raid primaries are all kinetic? I feel that you're applying the Y1 logic to upcoming events, without taking into consideration the changes of Y2. Note the 2.0 weapon perk nerf. Note that Y1 elemental primaries have been completely phased out of new content, and I believe won't make a prominent return, thus the +damage to Taken perk seen on all raid weapons. Also, take into consideration that the goal was to make content more challenging to players, thus our burn damage reductions, etc. Consider Zhalo Supercell--the first ever elemental damage, non-raid primary. Based on what we've seen, I don't think any of the previous "rules" apply.

  • Hey listen. Everything you're saying I already know. VoG elemental primaries dropped from normal mode, if you'll remember Crota did NOT. There's one hole is your logic of completely ruling out what was done in year one. And finally both full blown hard mode raids had exotic elemental primaries tied directly to the defeat of the main boss. So if you want to continue to discuss this keep your focus on primary exotics from the final hard mode raid bosses because that was the point I was making. Don't broaden the scope of the conversation to meet the needs of your initial argument/point.
