3 of coins is worthless now f u bungie.
Edit 1 so I'm not the only one getting the D. Seems other are having terrible drop rates with this as well. I had no problem before the update I was getting a engram every 5-8 tries.

You have shitty luck is all lol...I use them 1 every other strike and I tend to get 1 engram every 5 coins

use 1 miss a strike use 1 miss a strike! always works for me i get at least 1 out of 3 coins doing this.

Are you switching characters? I was averaging 1 exotic every 6 or 7 coins, but in the last couple of days 0 for 25, only difference is I have been switching toons frequenly. Previously I was focusing on just one toon. I am wondering if the increased chance of a drop after each fail dosnt stick when switching back and forth between characters, or logging off etc.

6 RespuestasI had a decent day yesterday. 6 exotics at 310 light, including a 310 supercell. Thank you rngesus. I feel your pain though. I was a stretch where I used closed to 50 and got 1 exotic which I already had.

I still get decent drops. Though now that I got the supercell and telesto, the only thing I really want now that's exotic that can drop is the graviton helm and the tarantella

I went through 40 coins yesterday. Had two exotic drops, last word and the stag. That was it. People in the strike team couldn't believe I was just getting blues. Heroic strikes too

I've gotten to many telestos, hereafter, crust of alpha poopy, last words, I think rng is trying to tell me something

In a dry spell. Ran strikes last night, 12 in a row. Used a coin on every single one. 1 exotic drop. Was a 290 chest.

2 RespuestasThis is how it works for me ( I use 1 coin before every strike) : Strike 1: nothing. The normal 2 blues and MAYBE a legendary Strike 2: usually a legendary, rarely have I gotten an exotic Strike 3: legendary almost everytime, if not it's an exotic Strike 4: exotic everytime if I haven't received one from the first 3. Anyone else?
