She shook her head and let out a light laugh. "Now where do you keep finding these things?"

"i had Paige go get it from cayde" he said with a smile "so what now"[spoiler]Paige is his ghost[/spoiler]

She sighed and looked away, questioning that herself. What [i]was[/i] next? She turned to him. "I guess we enjoy the peace while it lasts."

He had stayed by her side for so long, fought her battles, made sure she was safe and not alone. She offered a light smile, her cheeks staining a darker rose as heat raced to her face. "Im...glad the feeling is mutual at least."She said, turning her head away. It was dangerous, had she stay with the vanguard, chances of then finding him grew. Yet. He had a new body, what were the odds of them even figuring it'd be him? The fact that his vessel was a well known guardian did not help. She felt conflicted, but before she could thibk more of it, a knock resonated through the quite house.

"ah fúck, why cant everyone just leave us alone" he said as he walked over to the door "oh shit...its the vanguard. we have to get out of here" he murdered as he opened a hatch in the floor. inside was an elaborate set of tunnels. he took her by the hand and led her down the one on the right "Fùck...how did they find you?"

I don't know."She sighed as she walked alongside him. "So much for peace.." The woman looked to him, her brows furrowing. The vanguard [i]couldnt[/i] find him, she wouldn't allow it. Even if that meant she'd go back.

"Artemis why did you go AWOL?" Cayde said over her comms "The vanguard can provide anything you want. just come back."

"No hard feelings Cayde."She said as they walked. "I don't want to live that life of lies." She looked to leon, brows furrowed and a pit in her stomach. They were being hunted.

"dont worry, only shin and i know about these tunnels. we should be safe here for a while" he said as he turned to her "and plus if need be I could pass as a vanguard"

She let out a sigh and nodded, looking around. They were probably a mile from the house now, safe. "Worse case scenario, but I don't want you anywhere near them Leon."

"i understand" he said as his armor and weapons materialized beside him "we should try and avoid conflict, but just in case" as he loaded his revolvers and put them at his side

In an instant, her armor materialized on her, and she released a heavy sigh. She was just getting used to being out of her armor. No conflict...just peace. "I concur."She said looking away "but vanguard are persistent...they always get what they want."

"Everything will be alright. trust me." he said with a smile

"That's all I do."She repeated earlier words, returning the smile. Something urked her though, both by the speed and knowledge the vanguard held. She reported to Cayde days ago, so there shouldn't have been any alarm.

"you need rest, shin and i set up areas along the tunnel made just for that. theres one just up here" he said pointing ahead

The girl nodded and walked ahead along with him, thankful for the concern he had shown for her. "Where do these tunnels lead?"

"This one leads to an abandoned village. the other one leads to the city, and we don't want to go there" "ah right here" he said as he opened a door in the side of the tunnel and turned in the lights. inside there was a bed and a chair. "The village were headed to has been abandoned since i was a child. The fallen killed everyone that lived there. And now everyone is scared about going back. But the vanguard won't find us there so it seems like it's our only option" he said as he sat down in the chair.

She entered and sat on the edge of the bed, nodding. It had seemed like the better choice, one the vanguard wouldn't thibk of. Besides, I'd they entered the house and saw no one was there, they probably thought they were already hours away. That's what she would think anyway. She sighed and looked to him "hopefully we loose them."

"The vanguard dont know anything about this tunnel. So im positive we will loose them. Now get some rest, its a long walk to the village." he said with a smile. But he knew something was wrong, and that someone was telling the vanguard everything they were doing. He just didn't know who, but he was going to find out.

She looked to him, nodding hesitantly, yet seeing his smile eased her a bit. She could tell something was amiss but she trusted him. She laid down, not realizing how exhausted she was and fell into a light sleep.

"Paige, have you been telling the vanguard everything we have been doing?" "No, why would I? They dont even know I exist. They thought I was destroyed when you were exiled." "Hades" he said under his breath. If he really was the one telling them then then the vanguard know exactly where they are and they are in trouble.

Hades materialized from the sleeping girls armor, having heard the interaction between Leon and Paige. It was true, he had been sending signals and messages to Cayde, there was some interference with the ground above them however. He approached the duo, flitting around in tbe air, looking to the man. "She [i]needs[/i] to return, she's of great importance to Cayde and the Vanguard."He saod, looking to his quarry then back to him."You're putting these ideas into her head."

Editado por Deterrentnine: 10/1/2015 11:51:24 PMleon pulls out his revolver and points it at hades "i didn't put any thoughts in her head, they were all hers, she doesn't want to go back. she's happy, and im happy for the first time in my life" he put his gun away "why dont you understand that. all she wants is peace. and the vanguard can't give her that. the only reason i didn't shoot you is because you're her ghost and she would hate me for doing it. But im going to ask you to stop telling them." He looks at the ground "please...dont take this away from her"

"She is a killer Leon, this is what she does best...but not like I have much of a choice down here anyway..."He said, putting a little distance between them. He looked to his companion, a little conflicted. She was loyal, but...he looked to leon, his words echoing in his little orb.

"im more of a killer than her, ive killed people in cold blood. And ill take her place if i have to. Ill do anything to make sure she's happy." he looks back at hades "just please...let her do what she wants to do"
