How about a "No Exotic Weapons/Supers/Heavy Ammo" gametype?
The title pretty much says it. I think it would be fun and competitive.
Preferably on Elimination!

They have to pick up their guns, this promotes map control and team coordination. Something severely missing in Destiny. One power weapon per map, preferably a rocket with 4 rockets and possibly a sniper or two. Depends on the map. No supers, no weapon perks, class gimmicks or sliding. And how about some actual good maps? Bring back say something like The Pit? Lockout? Because as far as I'm concerned, all the MP maps in Destiny blow. Custom Games with Forge would also be a nice addition. :^) So in other words, have a Halo-esque playlist. That would be perfect. inb4 "hurr just go play halo"

2 RespuestasIt's clear that Bungie doesn't want PVP to be a true form of competitive play like some other FPS's. I think they're more focused on trying to make it enjoyable for everyone who goes into crucible. Furthermore, many people were demanding for private matches and dedicated servers but they gave us mayhem. Sure, plans were set in motion a while back but I could guarantee Bungie has the resources available to give us private matches. I believe private lobbies will be coming soon, but I just don't see them allowing us to change game mode rules.

I don't think they could do no Exotics. It kind of goes against the idea of Crucible. Plus they wouldn't have the mechanics in place to restrict certain weapons in certain modes. All the other stuff is easy though.

But a pure gunplay play list should be ok as well I guess.

Gear and ability perks also disabled gear would be only cosmetic. 5vs5,3vs3 and 2vs2 would be awesome and add a ranking system too it and this game would finally have competitive pvp *.* Edit: every competitive player would play this no nerfs would be needed for the other weapons in the game or subclasses you can still mess around with scrubguns,bladedancers,hammer etc in the normal crucible or pve
