In my opinion this is by far one of the strongest community builders Bungie has brought to the table so far. The fact that random guardians can happen upon one of the fights taking place in the court and begin assisting immediately is wonderful.
The location and design of the platform simply draws people in.
Please build on this concept for future expansions.
How does everyone else feel about the Court of Oryx?

I check the Court every time I'm on the dreadnought and the place is deserted. I think part of the problem at least in the limited experience I have had is that the only player to get a decent reward is the one who activated the rune. Granted players can switch out who activates the challenge but still the lack of reward to those who jump in to help during the event tends to create a why bother attitude. I got an invite to help out some guys doing the Court of Oryx, jumped in did everything I could do and got a consumable worth a couple hundred Glimmer. So yeah I can hop around going "yay I'm helping" but what's the point really. If Bungie could just set it up to where everyone participating gets motes or ammo drops or strange coins maybe the place would liven up.

2 RespuestasWas doing the court the other day with a friend, we had loads of runes and over time more and more people joined us. We ended up with 7 people, formed a party and completed around 5 antiquated runes. On of the best moments I've ever had in destiny.

I like it too! I just wish the tier three bosses were randomized though

It sucks, sat there for hours and can't get anyone to help, this game just plain sucks.
-
Sucks. Been there for an hour and no one came.

It is a crapshoot. Sometimes everybody helps out. Today, I find five guys running runes. Ran six times with them. I pop a rune? Three run off. One stands outside the entry to the court and doesn't go in.

I like how it isn't a simple shoot everything in sight fight. You have to figure out and manipulate the conditions to win.

Yeah, we have invited far more randoms on patrol to the party in the past two weeks than since the game was released. Trying to get 6+ people into the court
