See everyone was saying gjallarhorn was the problem. Yet it got nerfed and left behind. Lfg is still trash. It was always the problem and still is. The nerfing of gjallarhorn was blamed on lfg. When in fact all they really did was skirt around the issue of not having some sort of a matchmaking system for raids whether it be in game lfg or a designated area for people to meet up. 3rd party sites should not be a thing

I'm confused, because an in game lfg is the same thing as a third party site lfg. Lfg is lfg wether its in game or on destiny tracker. People can still place requirements on what they want in a group before before accepting you to there fire team.

You missed the entire point. 1. I should never have to leave the game to do part of the game. 2. Bungie cannot control or dictate a 3rd party site such as lfg as they could their own -blam!-ing game. 3. Nuff said

I understand and agree with you yes there should I've been an in game all along. However that would still not change anything the OP is complaining about, because in game lfg is the same setup as a third party site.

Yes they should. It's a great way to pick who you want on your fireteam. I don't want matchmaking because if I saw I got matched with a 284, id just leave the lobby lol. These requirements LFG people add, aren't to offender people. They are made because it's true, you aren't beating Oryx if you are a 290 at the moment, until people get the fight down to the T. Maybe in the upcoming weeks 290s will do well, but not now. Another issue is that a lot of casuals are trying to do the raid right now and going on LFG won't help them out at all. The first 2 weeks (especially the first 3 fùcking days) are for the elite, tryhard time committed gamers. These casuals expect people to add them this early on and it's not going to happen because the raid is still very hard.

how is an in game lfg any more random than a 3rd party site? No the site should not exist. Instead of trying to nerf everything they should be figuring out a way to make it happen. Again let me spell it out for you. In no way did i say we need random matchmaking. But we definitely need something better than a 3rd party site.

I as a player not only have the right to pick and choose who I want to play with, but I want to choose who I play with I do not want a matchmaking system to figure that out for me, for a raid because raids are hard Also did you read what you said at all? How is an in game LFG anymore random then an LFG website? Ummmmm it's far more random because an LFG website is not random at all. The only thing you can't find out until you play is if you'll get along with the people, but you can pre determine there light level and weapons

Umm no you can't really see there light level you can ONlY assume..like mine it's lower then I can really have it so I can upgrade other weapons and gear to later maybe infuse them

Phenominal my ass. Everyone i ever met ther is a complete asshat. Matchmaking are in the tower. People meet in this area and check each other out. There should some kind of message system where we can leave messages about what we are looking for. Basically i am saying that if i have to put down my controller go away from the game to try and find people to play with then the game isn't complete. We all know that random matchmaking would never work for a destiny raid even though real mmo have it. Destin is not an mmo though. Im saying it would be alot better if lfg existed withing the game. Not 3rd party sites.

I enter the tower hand over quests get packages that is all.. It's bad enough now entering the tower and getting spammed with invites.. Do people find that acceptable? Lfg in game would be the worst.. Bungie recruitment section and other sites are were you find a team always has been this way, The rate people are going at they'll destroy this game in another year or 2.

Once in that room you can use your mics and talk to ppl in there once your in there radius or something they can set up and ask to join or they join you as fireteam leader. You would also be able to go over strategy before getting a team together. It would be soo much better then what we have now. But the positive side is there now really only one raid people will want to do now..why do the others??

I'm till gonna run the others, I don't really care who it's with but the raids are a good source of materials for motes and what not.
