Hey I'm on the material and solar kills part. The mats I can get just fine, but would you happen to know of an efficient way to get the 500 or so solar kills?

Patrol old areas with VoC or abyss defiant, solar shotty or sidearm, gally, and Sunbreaker melee and nades. Should get em pretty quick.

Do the lamps in the Crota Raid work for 500 kills?

I doubt it. Those kills don't count for bounties, worth a shot though.
