Agreed. Either/or options should be available for all quests like this. I'm trying to do Jolly Holiday right now and I can't get past like 13%. It doesn't require that you are decent in the Crucible. It requires that you are great in the Crucible. With a specific weapon type at that.
This is the type of objective that people find a fire team and boost in rumble. Which defeats the purpose of it.
Do not force people into the Crucible and require that they be great.

It's meant for skirmish and sniping your opponents or melting them in a controlled space of they get too close.

Youre bot forced to do the quest you just cant so you get all mad either get better and finish or move along scrub

You just have to have it equipped. You can kill with another gun and it will count. If that helps. Sadly, due to the change tlw is only good up close and personal. You'll win that fight, but first you gotta get there.
