is this even a question? destiny universe. we have the reef which has fleets of ketches under their belt, and Minecraft has,.....a castle with bows and arrows. We have modernized guns

As much as you can make an elaborate castle/base/fort or whatever, I don't think when it comes down to it, that bows and swords are going to stand up to Thorn spam.
