So you're saying right now it's only good from 2 feet away? Because it's range is getting nerfed from 20 to 10. If you know how to use the weapon, you'll still wreck with it. The precision buff will negate the range nerf. It will still be the same gun tomorrow after the patch as it is today pre-patch.

That's not true at all. No more long range ADS kills after today

Ok, great, but who the F uses Last Word for long range kills? Seriously. I think people are extremely over-estimating the amount of times that happens. That's more in the neighborhood of Thorn and Hawkmoon.

Not long range, but medium range kills it dominates. Played Trials lately? They're nerfing it to fusion rifle range

It's supposed to and will continue to dominate in medium range fights. It's right in the Weapon Tuning 2.0 News post, it will be optimal at close-medium range, as it always has.

It's pushing beyond that range currently and always has. Tomorrow it will only be effective while hip firing, and not nearly at the range that it currently is.

If anyone was using TLW in a manner other than hip firing, they're doing it wrong. None of us will obviously know for sure until after the patch tomorrow, but lowering its range by 10 isn't going to do a whole hell of a lot

They're doing it wrong as far as what the weapon was intended for, but not as far as effectiveness goes. That's why they made the changes. For using it as intended it will only get better.
